This is not a On The Spot Service Excellence acknowledgement; this is indeed a complaint toward Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Medical Center. Notably regarding the often rude, snarky, impatient, and usually non compassionate service I seem to receive from select Kaiser Representatives at member facing positions. Last week I noticed how rude a lady was to a member at the front desk, and I said, wow and then looked at the front desk representative that was helping me and she said, you aint seen nothing yet and then shook her head. I didn't think much of that because it wasn't directed toward me. But I have experienced something like that before, like today, with pharmacy representative Tracy. I entered the pharmacy at approximately 8am and Tracy was helping the lady in front of me as I patiently waited in line for my turn, I then approached the counter and said good morning and Tracy responded with what can I help you with, I said I'm here to pick up a prescription and showed her my Kaiser card, Tracy then said this is the check-in line you need to be in the pick-up line, I said okay and went to the pick-up line, and then once I stood in the pick-line Tracy said I'll help you here sir and then asked for my Kaiser number. I said to Tracy,, is this a game, she said what do you mean, I said I'm the only one here - why did you ask me to leave your window to get into another line just so you could call me back to your window... She said she didn't know if I was here to pick-up or check-in, I said why not just run my Kaiser number at the check-in line that I was in... She then told me my prescription isn't ready, so I asked if she could message the doctor. She said a message is already pending in the system, then shared my story that I just came from a different Kaiser and they recommended I come here because this is where the doctor is stationed, and it may be quicker service, so I asked if she could send a message from here. She then told me that's not going to do anything, so I said how can you help me Mayan? Tracy then said I can give a message to the pharmacist, so I said please, whatever you can do to help me I would appreciate it. That was the most frustrating encounter, and encounters like that seem to happen all the time. So much so that today I asked Tracy's colleague down at another window for Tracy's name and told me I'm going to write a complaint about her, and he gave me her name and apologize for the experience I had with her.This is my local Kaiser, and it is rather expensive, I deserve to be treated with a certain level of decency.

I've seen over a dozen physical therapists over the years and have generally had positive experiences, but my time with Jacqueline Lin has been exceptional.She is knowledgeable, thorough, and provides excellent care, but what sets her apart is her ability to clearly explain different aspects of her assessment and treatment. Her detailed approach helps you understand not just what sheu2019s doing, but whyu2014making the process more effective and engaging.Beyond her expertise, Jacqueline has a warm and approachable demeanor that makes you feel like a person rather than just an appointment. Her professionalism and dedication truly stand out. She does an outstanding job that reflects well on her department, and Kaiser as a whole.

My first time visiting here (physical exam) and it was pleasant. Plenty of parking available. Checking in was easy. I had an appointment set and was seen within 5 minutes of checking in. Nurse Hazel welcomed me in and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. O was very attentive and answered any question I had. Very nice and clean facility overall.

This medical facility is small but delivers on a larger scale. The pharmacy selves are fully stocked. This is my go to pharmacy for vitamins. The lines are seldom long. I came for my annual eye appointment. The nurse to Dr. Gonzalez gave me step by step of what she was going to do before she did anything. Dr Gonzalez was very attentive! He asked a lot of questions regarding my eyes. He looked and compared my history appointments to my current visit. I was in and out without being rushed for my appointment. I visit was pleasantly and fast
