I had surgery here and the team of people that work here are wonderful!! The receptionist, the intake for insurance,every single nurse and doctor were all wonderful!! The energy that these women brought to work with them was simply amazing!! The work performed by my doctor was wonderful also. I could not have asked for a better team of people.

My primary care physician is located at Baptist Eastpoint. The staff and my doctor are all great. Iu2019m always always in the room within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. This is a great place to go for primary care. I highly recommend it.

Baptist has amazing employees but the front desk ladies at Dr. Dennis office were one rude and heavily racist. I called ahead and told them we had some traffic. I get that, but they refused to attend my grandfather either way even if he had financial support from the hospital. Then talked to us as if weu2019re trying to scam them. Even when a baptism clinic made the appointment. Being treated with such disrespect frustrated me, so I just left. I donu2019t recommend.

When I was scheduling my blood work and asked if and where Eastpoint does testing and if there was transport as Iu2019m not walking well. Girl assures me if I come in the main entrance I can get help. I arrive no one including guard is at main entrance. Just a wheelchair. I get in sit down a bit shakey. Wait there a few minutes. No help no one there. A nice lady eating lunch was very kind to take me to the testing area.nnOnce I get there Iu2019m talking to the admitting woman who then says they are going to need to put the entrance wheelchair back.nI tell her Iu2019m not suppose to be walking on my bad foot. So she says you canu2019t walk like itu2019s not a surprise. Just came in on wheelchair. She was like I donu2019t think we have one back here. But you have to give that one up??????nnI get my test done, they find another wheelchair. But no one to transport me. Like Iu2019m suppose to try and carry my purse in my lap and my cane and wheel myself to the front???? This is a hospital for gods sakes.nnI finally looks at the woman and said I front of everyone in the waiting room. I am disabled you all are suppose to make reasonable accommodations for disabled people. This is a hospital!!! I felt so humiliated why should I need to address this with hospital staff???nnFinally one of the receptionist in the test dept. who proceeds to tell me this is not her job and sheu2019s just being nice. And that the hospital has no transport?? Itu2019s a hospital people are going to need help in a wheel chair if the have things they need to hold and try and push them selves.nnOf course they never sent me the u201cJoe was your visit u201c survey.nNo transport in a hospital- F-ing nutz

I donu2019t leave very many reviews but this appt was extremely frustrating. And the office staff accepts no responsibility. Excuse after excuse.nI scheduled my original appt earlier this year. Called and said I want to come in for my annual physical. I showed up at the time scheduled, had fasted, and was told then, that it had not been a year since my last physical and insurance would not cover it. Why wasnu2019t I told that when I made the appt? Oh itu2019s the system. When you call in you get routed to someone who canu2019t see that information. Fair enough. Met the Dr. Great guy. Liked him a lot. Was charged about $150 for the greeting. Nothing was done. Oh well. Lesson learned. Rescheduled my appt. About a month later I get a voice mail saying due to u201cunforeseenu201d circumstances my appt was cancelled. And that someone from the office staff would contact me to reschedule. I waited a few weeks and still had not received a call. Then I started getting texts from the office making sure I would be at my appt. So I figured it was still on. No call to reschedule. And text messages from the drs office asking me to confirm. Which I did. Also received emails from my chart to fill out forms.nSo I show up. Not on the schedule. The lady said that appt was cancelled. I went through the whole scenario and all she could say was that the text messages continue going out even if the appt was cancelled. She said we can schedule you now if you would like. Really? Iu2019ve wasted two days. Paid for my first appt. And Iu2019ve gotten nothing accomplished. No thanks. Their automated system just makes them lazy.nIu2019m sure Dr. Adamu2019s is a good doctor. I would love to have been a patient. But not dealing with incompetence if I donu2019t have to. Iu2019ll find another office.nI think if the office staff had apologized, accepted some responsibility, instead of making excuses, I would have rescheduled. Instead I left wondering what I could have done differently.
