My experience at Baptist Health Medical Group Family Medicine reminded me of why I never go to the doctor. Didn't even see the doctor until almost an hour after my scheduled appointment (it was just a simple check up). When he finally showed up, he was there for all of five minutes, then ordered a bunch of labs with nary of mention of how expensive they were going to be. When I left, I was expecting a $40 copay but got slapped with a surprise $400 bill a few weeks later! I understand that healthcare is profit-driven these days, but Baptist takes it to a whole different level. I think it would be healthier to just go back to my old ways of never going to the doctor, because my experience with Baptist Health Medical Group Family Medicine definitely resulted in elevated blood pressure!

The receptionist was nice, but the overall communication from the staff was frustrating. When I arrived late, she checked with someone who confirmed my son could still be seen, so we checked in. After waiting an hour, I was then told the doctor said he is unable to see my son but we could wait around to find out if anything opens up. The staff seemed unaware and unorganized, which wasted my time. If they had been upfront from the beginning, I could have gone elsewhere. Very disappointing experience.

I spend 1 hour on the phone to make appointments at Baptist Health and when I came they said we don't accept your insurance. Surprise! surprise!nDon't respect patient's time. Also didn't offer self pay appointment. I sat on the chair waiting her to call me or to do next step. Employee just started to talk with another patient.ud83dude33 It seems they don't care. Second one said you have to use your insurance. And I saw how another patient came in my time appointment. ud83dude33 come back when you have insurance. ud83eudd2fNo thanks! Never come back and don't recommend anyone this location. So disappointed.

Was very disrespectful when I called to make an appointment. Was speaking with a woman named Debbie she was speaking very very low and didnu2019t know the answers to anything I was asking. All I needed to know was do you guys accept Medicaid.. I will never try making an appointment here again based on the customer service of the entire office is like this I suggest everyone else donu2019t waste their time here either they are disrespectful and donu2019t know how to do their jobs.

This is by far the best Primary Care office I have ever been to. From the front desk to the MAu2019s to the Doctors. I felt so comfortable through the whole process. Dr. Damron is amazing and creates a comfortable environment while she is with you. I could write a novel on the amazing experience I had at this office!
