So I can only share my experiences here so far, but they have been terrific. The staff, the nurses and my surgeon have all been very professional and human (meaning they treat me like I am important, even though I am not). I have been very comfortable each time I have been there and really do not understand the low ratings. I have spent many years in and out of Christiana, and this hospital by far is my favorite of the 2. I have been to many locations of both hospitals, so there is a lot to compare, it is not just a 1 time visit at 1 location.nnAnyway, these are just my opinions and experiences, but I would recommend Bayhealth without hesitation.

Liz at the arrival center for inpatient lied to me saying my daughter had 2 visitors already. I called my daughter and she said she only had 1. So I was refused access to go up to my daughter. My daughter wanted me up there with her and the lying,snotty woman Liz would not let me go up even after nurse confirmed only 1 visitor was up there with Liz. She stated hospital policy and I have to wait for 1 of the people to check out lmfao. Since when does hospitals check visitors out. Not any I've been too. Not even that one a few months back. Wow is all I can say. My daughter could of been dying and they wouldn't let me have access to my own child. Disgusting is what bayhealth Milford is for sure

What A Great Experience through a challenging time !nnMy father was rushed to Bayhealth hospital for appendicitis .nnWords cannot express my gratitude to the amazing staff and Everyone that makes Bayhealth Hospital a VERY SPECIAL place that it is . TOP NOTCH !!!nnA very Special Thanks tonMrs Lisa Lauderman for all the help guidance and professional care she aided both my Father and our family .nnAs for all the nurses and techs that cared for my father around the clock .. You All have been Amazing !!!nnTwo Extremely special Nurse and Tech that I was Very impressed with their dedication were Mrs Gertrude and Mrs Tiffany .. Theyu2019ve been thorough, attentive, kind, and caring while my mom has gone from ER to admittance. I have literal PTSD from previous hospital visits and try to actively avoid them when at all possible. This has been an entirely non traumatic visit (obviously no ER visit is without its own worry, but they didnu2019t actively make it worse like so many other hospitals have).

The only reason i am giving 2 stars is for the nurses who were great. I was admitted early April at 4am while on vacation for sever pains in chest with heartburn. After several tests in one day the gastro Doctor advised it was my gall bladder was not working properly and should be removed. Well the surgeon didn't think so! So after convincing him different , he set an appt. on Thursday for surgery which leaves me several days in constant pain! Well they ended up taking me Wed night due to pain. The nurse advised us that it was worse then they thought and should have been removed the day i was admitted. So after a week in there iv been receiving several bills for my LONG stay which shouldn't have been. I was considering moving to the area but not now with the incompetent doctors! You might be better off going to a Vet down there!
