Bellin health Care on Woodward Ave in iron mountain MI. Is BY FAR the worst clinic I've had to deal with. Specifically Vanessa Mitchell NP. I am diagnosed with mental health conditions and Vanessa nor Bellin have shown any ability to handle such patients. Vanessa Mitchell NP herself is an subpar NP. She is only available Tuesday through Thursday and not easy to book. She seems barely knowledgeable to be carrying any medical degree. I lost my eyebrows due to a medication that I was taken(unaware it was a medication at the time) I asked if there was any test we could do to find out what is causing the issue. She would not. I suffered from a severe UTI infection and Vanessa was unavailable to be booked, the incident happened on a Friday. And do it to her inability to be a effective physician I had to endure pain and attend two different hospitals to find out what the issue was. During the time of being shuffled between hospitals in the inability to use my legs, I suffered injury. If vanessa had just been available I may have been able to have the situation solved without having to go through other situations at other hospitals. This made me go way far out of my way, I did not get home until 1:00 in the morning because we had to drive all the way to Marinette. At the time of having her as my physician I thought things would be easy and she was understandable. I was wrong she doesn't understand hardly anything. If you are a patient who has a lot of medical conditions I do not recommend Vanessa. When Vanessa put me on another medication for weight loss and I was having issues with my blood pressure she couldn't even figure that out. She couldn't see that it was the weight loss medication that was causing me to have constant problems with my blood pressure. And I most certainly do not recommend her if you are a patient with mental problems. Bellin will discharge you from the physician because they will say that you are threatening them and causing some type of distress. When in actuality a mental patient is having an episode and they just cannot handle a patient who is having a mental episode they are not capable of handling such a situation. This is a good show of hypocrite the fact that they want to help you but they won't help you.

Turned away because we didn't have my 4 month olds insurance card on hand. The receptionist was rude. I asked if they could look it up, because I know most hospitals can or will find a way to work with you if its not on hand (mind you we drove an hour there because Ive read how amazing the Drs. Are). Got a blank stare and told I can't look it up when I stared at her in confusion, I than asked if she knew if other hospital can do that. Which she replied I have no clue, we aren't affiliated with them. After another long pause, I told my husband they won't see her because I don't have her insurance card. Lady said nothing, I then turned waved and said thanks for nothing and we left. Marshfield looked up her insurance and got us in. Never returning to this hospital again.

Been waiting for over a hour for my 6 month daughter's shot going to switch her back.Edit: they do nothing for pain for they are basically just a therapist nothing else. Only recommend if you have mental problems like them. I have a back surgery coming up and they don't do pain management.

After two visits I realized that everything that was handed to me or the equipment I was told to use was not wiped down with a cleaner in between patients. That is required at gyms and not a hospital ud83eudd22ud83eudd2eud83eudd27Guess keeping people sick or introducing them to new illnesses is protocol.
