If you are in an emergency avoid this hospital. All the staff does is gossip and not do their job. I fear the nurses need to find different jobs.nSecurity had the nerve to decline my 80 year old mom and told her to go back outside. Only minors and people above 65 can have guests. GO SEEK HELP ELSEWHERE. This place hasnu2019t done anything but got worse in the past 10 years.

About two weeks ago I had to take my wife to Emergency room. Turned out she had pneumonia and she was admitted for several days. The treatment she received was extremely courteous and professional both in the Emergency area and in the hospital. All required test were timely performed and the treatment was immediately started based on the diagnosis. The Doctors, nurses and all personnel maintained us informed of the medicines, treatment and status at all times. Even the food was good. We are extremely satisfied with the service received. Definitevely we recommend it.

Stay away if you can this hospital needs a overhaul of management and board of directors. l will give you a couple of BS reasons one example is if you have other children your not allowed in to see your own other daughter who is being checked for appendicitis you gotta sit outside in your vehicle in the hot sun,there excuse is the flu and rsv wich all is BS its Going on May no flu season or rsv it's all a BS they use the covid BS which I'm so sick of we aren't stupid where was the flu during the fake pandemic hospitals are using that excuse as way to keep people away again we aren't stupid and know the vac is BS and has hurt people seriously you guys shouldn't even ask to people if they want it! I use nitro for my heart these guys tried to tell me that people lie about being on it suggesting I do.This hospital should be your last resort parents should be allowed in,both of them ,stop with the BS flu,RSV garbage we aren't stupid your only using it has a excuse to keep family members out so you guys won't be corrected when the Drs and nurses get attitudes and think they know better yup I said it !! Your hospital waiting room is empty cause you kck out everyone,I frankly like to know where the money goes you guys get or perhaps DOGE needs to see!

I have been to the emergency department three times and every time after waiting four or more hours and getting not even seen by a triage nurse, I would leave my most recent appointment was Thursday, April 10 where are you had people in the emergency room? I checked in at 4:30 and left at 6:30 or closer I checked in at 10 AM 12 AM still have not gotten any answers. This is probably the worst hospital I have ever experienced. I will never probably come here again unless by An ambulatory event. Staff were in compassionate and triage was combative to myself and others who simply asked what are next steps are. Especially for me as a transplant from Utah and not familiar with yours ways and procedures. But when I ask Iu2019m treated like first how dare I asked them 2nd by sarcasm and finalized with contentionnnI took my care to quick care E-Town way better service kinder and answers right away.nnCape fear Bladen county Hospital is completely incompetent. Seek care elsewhere.

a lot of the staff are rude, stuck up, neglectful, & mean. been here several times due to panic attacks and high BP & each time I would either have to sit in the waiting room with a BP of 170/110 panicking or they put me in a room where none of the nurses PURPOSEFULLY would come to (I was told by one of their CNAs). Iu2019ve walked out of here several times due to them ignoring me and claiming they were waiting on test results yet hadnu2019t ran any bloodwork at all. every time Iu2019d walk up to triage to ask to see if my BP went down any, the woman said u201cno, youu2019re BP is either the same or itu2019s worse.u201d ??? who says that to someone that is obviously panicking and at risk of having a stroke with that high of a BP ??? thatu2019s just a small sample of the experiences Iu2019ve had at this hospital. donu2019t go to this place unless your life severely depends on it and you canu2019t make it to the next hospital.
