Staff is great, the one star is for the massive headache and 3+ days of trying to pay a bill with the wrong guarantor number. FIX YOUR BILLING SYSTEM!! I feel bad for any elderly non tech savvy individual that may be forced to navigate that system. No one can give you a number to call unless that number redirects you to the automated system. Even visiting multiple locations and talking to several people could not resolve my issue since all the numbers they have redirect you to the automated system.

Boardman, Ohio. So during a very less than desirable experience again in the mercy system I looked up the executive office people. I noticed the head guy is a lawyer. So far the best idea for the system. They actually have a venture capital character on their board. Heu2019s educated in Florida, the land that defines medicare fraud. Home of all record setting Medicare fraud in America. The Senator from Florida, a prior hospital CEO, the recipient of the largest Medicare fraud case in the country. If you are a clinical person in the United States and attempt to get professional privileges but have worked in Florida. You are required to file special paperwork.nAnd yet, Mercy hired someone in venture with Florida credentials. I think that says a lot about a corporation.nPoor staffing is a continuing problem when you are stuck in emergency rooms for days without food and water. Itu2019s a repeating pattern and one that the CEO lawyer, Johnny Starcher, Jr should address.nnSo John, stop with the corporate excuses. Get off your ass and hire people. Open some beds. And donu2019t do it by lobbying congress to change staffing ratios. You need more professional staff, not less per patient. Today, Iu2019m literally thinking of having Samu2019s club deliver furniture, tray table, food and water to our family in your Boardman emergency room.

Care was sub-par, my family will never go back and I will probably never go to a doctor again, anywhere. Still getting bills after 2 years, so patient beware, you will pay random things and the business office will give no explanation besides u201cyou owe us moneyu201d.

Perspective is everything! Start with an understanding that healthcare is complicated and nobody wants to be a bad person. Then, it gets clear that your perspective can cause problems. Don't be defensive, don't give up trying, and realize that healthcare is a gift.nnMy personal experience was dealing with caring people that were amazingly competent and supportive.nI was properly diagnosed after failing to get it right using another health system. Now I don't have to suffer and I get care close to home. Thank you Mercy Health!

Although my personal experience was great I just learned about a friend s experience which follows..When nurses canu2019t take the time to help someone use the bathroom, that is unable to move and then tells them they will have to stay wet as they canu2019t and wonu2019t change them, it is very sad and they should be replaced, reprimanded! How would they like to be told that if it were them? You need to deal with this ASP.
