I am grateful for my experience at the City MD Bergan Beach. From the moment I walked in the front office staff was very professional. I had a bit of a wait, but when I was finally called in, Devin the medical tech who I saw before the doctor came in, was so very kind. He began our conversation with primarily apologizing for the delay, while still not getting into the details and personal business of other patients. I appreciated that, because he was mindful of my long wait. The doctor was also very attentive to my concerns and the reason I came in. Overall it was a good experience.

Front desk and reception medical team is very top teir. I was greeted upon arrival, all questions were answered without any attitude (typical reception) waiting room music selection is amazing and 1 front desk staff even went out her way to inquire with the back of office staff about my status of being called when she noticed i was still sitting in the waiting room for an employment urinalysis, after several people i arrived before.nnThis urgent care is definitely a treasure that must be kept as such. Thank you all.

I was seen by Doris and Natisse, both of whom were professional, courteous, and kind. I was in & out very quickly and Doris explained everything to me concisely. Doris also flushed out my ear that had a wax build up that Iu2019ve been suffering with for years but no one else ever bothered to. She explained the prescriptions she gave me & why & was out the door. Better experience than most doctor & dental offices Iu2019ve visited.

My daughter has been ill for the past five days. I took her to the urgent care and met with Dr. Alexander who saw she had 102 fever just gave her Tylenol and said itu2019s viral. Sheu2019ll get over it. She said her ears hurt. I did not see him check her ears. Heu2019s like her ears look fine. Her throat is swollen and doesnu2019t prescribe anything. I said you checked her ears he said yeah you were sleeping when I did it. He also suggested that I give her chicken soup and goes when I say chicken soup I donu2019t mean the food I mean the broth think about it. Very passive and when youu2019re in a field, where people are coming to you in your most vulnerable state and youu2019re so passive youu2019re gonna end up with a liability case. Surely somewhere down the line someoneu2019s gonna sue them for negligence because they lack the proper procedures to properly diagnose patients. By the way, your front desk needs to understand what HIPAA is and confidentiality. Talking My business so loudly that other patients can hear is unethical. As someone whose job is to identify liability and unethical conduct. I foresee trouble in their future

Terrible bed side manner. They speak to you like youu2019re uneducated. The doctor didnu2019t even tell me what was wrong with my son, just prescribed antibiotic and walked out. When I asked follow-up questions, was told u201cDidnu2019t you hear what the doctor said, meanwhile the assistant was in there to entire time. I responded u201cwerenu2019t you sitting here the entire time? Did you hear? No you didnu2019t because he said nothing to me.u201d This is just one snapshot of the rudeness and lack of care that took place this morning.nnI will never understand why people go into professions that require care for patients, they literally take an oath, and can be this nasty and dismissive. This place needs to be revamped with new staff. First time there, and very disappointed with the entire experience. I pray I never have to return. I will most likely go out of my way or rather go to an ER just to not encounter them again.
