The Problem: As a provider myself, itu2019s devastating when my child needs an emergency room. Especially when my first stop was a local minute clinic thinking it was probably no big deal and could just be handled real quick before the weather blows in.The Greeting: Words like empathy, compassion, and expertise donu2019t always come to mind when you think ER, especially if youu2019ve been to one on a Friday night in Plano. Thatu2019s because you didnu2019t go to Prestige ER. They had no wait, and even have a drive up drop off for patients with wheel chairs in addition to the walk in doors. The Cost: The front desk staff was knowledgeable about billing, and had my child being triaged while we sorted out the coverage. If you donu2019t have Medicaid or Medicare, they only charge your deductible and/or copay up front unlike other similar care centers requiring you to pay up front and seek out of network reimbursement on your own. The Medicaid/Medicare issue is a state system billing problem common to private practice. The Care: My child was treated with a calm, sincere, and expert medical evaluation. When he needed radiology they had a mobile team come in so we didnu2019t have to leave. He watched Netflix in a private room that was spacious enough for us to all fit.The Bottom Line: My child didnu2019t need a Level II Trauma Unit, nor did he have to endure the chaos, noise, waits, and other things that are associated with hospital based emergency rooms in the area to get the emergency care he needed. I didnu2019t have to drop $8k up front for services. Iu2019m taking a stack of cards to give my patients, and Iu2019m putting one on my fridge and one in my wallet. I am grateful I found Prestige ER without knowing about them ahead of time. I hope this is a message you read and a service you never need, but if you do, call them. Your loved one will be in great hands.

I went here due to feeling intense pain in my left side and down my thigh at 3am. My doctor had told me to go to the ER if pain was unbearable, as I had just recently had a natural miscarriage, so I did exactly that. They ran blood work, urinalysis, gave me pain medication, performed a CT scan, and allowed my husband with me through all of it.The staff was wonderful, and I was out by about 8:30am.If the event ever calls for it, I would definitely go to Prestige ER again!

The staff was amazing. They were very warm, thorough, and communicative. They were accommodating to my tight schedule and how long I could be at the ER. And given I was out of town and not able to go to my primary doctors the level of care and attention to my concerns was comforting and reassuring.

I came in at 9:30pm on a Wed night. Only 1 other patient was there, yet I left there at 12:30am. It took a long time for everything. The staff were all very friendly, so that is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. But, I was completely misdiagnosed. Went in for wrist pain, left with a diagnosis of a fractured wrist and possible underlying medical issues they suggested I get evaluated for further with the orthopedic doctor. I had a splint on that was too tight, I tried to rewrap several times, but found out it was the cast they used that was too tight. Fingers swelled, and turned purple. Meanwhile, also having some anxiety about the possibility I may have a more serious problem than a fractured wrist. I got into an orthopedic doctor 2 days later, and they laughed at the diagnosis of a fracture and that I could have any sort of underlying bone issue. I had tendinitis. There is no fracture and my bones are fine. Who knows what kind of bill I will now end up with for a complete misdiagnosis.
