Dr. Brissey is thorough and insightful during visits, taking the time to explain my condition, connect health concerns, and provide guidance on what to watch for. My first appointment with her was positive, which is why I returned for a second one.However, the follow-up process has been disappointing. After completing the tests she ordered, I followed up via email, but her nurse/assistant responded only to schedule an appointment over a month later just to review results. When I explained that was too far out and asked for an email summary instead, the response was Once she reviews your results you will receive a message through this portal! Itu2019s now been three weeks with no interpretation of my results.At other institutions, support staff typically relay results on the doctoru2019s behalf, making the process efficient. Unfortunately, the support team here doesnu2019t seem to facilitate timely communication, which affects the overall experience. While I appreciate Dr. Brisseyu2019s expertise, the administrative delays make me hesitant to recommend this practice over others with better follow-up systems. I will be moving to another place.

Despite the beautiful location and the pleasant appearance of the building, my experience with Caduceus clinic was extremely disappointing. While the doctor had a good attitude during the visit, and both the receptionist and medical staff clearly reassured me that everything would be covered by my insurance, I was later hit with unexpected and frustrating bills.The way the billing was handled was not only unprofessional but also felt deceptive, especially after all the upfront promises. Clinics that operate this way deserve no more than one star u2014 and even that feels generous. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I was a new patient and the NP didnu2019t even ask what medications I was on other than the ones for my arthritis. She ordered lab work and an ultrasound. And medical assistant called to tell me my cholesterol is a little high thinking this was something new. Iu2019m aware of this since Iu2019ve been on meds for it for years. She would be aware of it too had she ever asked what meds I was on. Then the ultrasound she ordered, you have to be fasting. Thank God I used to do ultrasound so I knew this but she never mentioned it. Also, the blood work they wanted me to come pickup a hard copy of a lab slip or they could fax it. They canu2019t email because of u201cprivacy issues u201c but it can sit on a fax machine?!?!? Who even has a fax machine anymore??? If they are this behind the times with lab slips, it makes me wonder what else they are behind on. Not a good start.Then thereu2019s the phones. Iu2019ve called twice. One time I was on hold for 30 min, where the recording assures me my call is very important to them, trying to reschedule my appt. I finally hung up without an answer. I called again today to see if my ultrasound results are in. Same thing today but this time 45 minutes on hold. Finally I selected the option to leave a message which told me there wasnu2019t room for me to leave a message which then took me back to the first prompts to sit on hold again but now Iu2019m back at the end of the queue.They have definitely automated the payment process, though. You get a text saying to pay it through their system ahead of time or your appointment will be canceled.After I get my ultrasound results, Iu2019ll be moving on to a different doctor outside of Caduceus. One that cares and I can actually get a hold of when I need to.

This office loves to just write medical issues off as no big deal. I have referred 2 people to this office because my doctor is wonderful but they unfortunately couldnu2019t see my doctor. The first person was my sister, she had been in a snowboarding accident and went to the urgent care. The urgent care Dr literally laughed at my sister and joked she should go snowboarding again next weekend. After a second opinion my sisters face was fractured in 3 different areasu2026 ha ha good thing she didnu2019t take the advice from Dr. Ponzio. I will add my sister had to call back and request X-rays of her face and was told thereu2019s no reason for that but after consulting with my doctor about the situation he suggested she went in for a emergency CT scan and that is when they found the fractures 2 weeks later. They had to rebreak the bones in her face since they started healing in the wrong place.The next person I referred was my boyfriend, he had been having severe stomach pain and visibly bloody stool. PA Goodale laughed and joked with him about life and how at 25 his bloody stool was just stress. Iu2019m sorry who has ever heard of bloody stool for months due to stress? After another second opinion and months of discomfort my boyfriend was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I wish the medical professionals here took more time to evaluate their patients for the symptoms presented instead of just down playing them as stress. No diagnostic testing was done and no exam was done so how would you 100% know itu2019s stress?

Would have been 5 stars if the reception had a better attitude and actually called me like she said she would to schedule my appointment.Dr.Robert Borrowdale and the Medical assistant were very helpful during my visit.The Medical Assistant kindly had me go to the front desk to schedule a surgery. The receptionist had a bad attitude when I asked if there was any sooner appointment since I was in pain, she said well didnu2019t you go to the emergency room and they couldnu2019t do anything for you? That was a very insensitive and rude thing to say to someone who just had a painful procedureu2026.She then said she would call me by then end of the day to confirm the time for the day of the appointment she provided.. never received a call back which I wasnu2019t surprised because for some reason the call center and front desk are not very helpful.Heather at the front desk in Irvine was very helpful. If you donu2019t go in person to book an appointment youu2019ll wait on the phone for 45 minutes until your call is answered in the queue
