They were super efficient. There was a little snafu with my insurance, but they quickly figured it out. They got me in and out in a very timely fashion. And the doctors were very helpful, and broke things down for me in a way I could easily understand

I went to a different urgent care and they could see me for hours because they were busy. I was suffering terribly with a foul body breakout of red welts and intense, unbearable itching. So I tried Carbon Health and they told me it would be 45u201d. I was so happy.nnThe receptionist was so welcoming and efficient and professional.nnI only waited about a half hour and was seen by a male medical assistant who thoroughly asked questions and evaluated my condition.nnNurse Practioner Matthew Brooks treated me and he was so nice and took my condition seriously. His bedside manner was comforting. He gave me one steroid shot and two prescriptions. He thinks the rash was due to a new medication.nnI am grateful to get relief from this horrible, intense, itching. Now it is 24 hours later and I am getting better.nnThank you Carbon Health!!!

Set my appt for 4pm. Front desk lady was nice, checked me in and on time. The guy who took the vitals and Clinician, Melissa, was very helpful and explain to my mom my symptoms were seasonal allergies and that gave her relief. The office and room were clean.

Kellie Amador, NP 5/5 starsnMellisa Chancellor, PA-C 0/5 starsnnExtensive review for 2 different UTI visits below:nnFirst visit for a UTI in 10/2024 I received great service and attention from all parties. Kellie Amador prescribed me antibiotics and sent my urine in for a culture test to make sure the antibiotics were appropriate/ I didnu2019t have antibiotic resistance against them. Overall, she was very thorough, patient and kind with me. My UTI cleared up and I was happy to have found a health center that I could go to when I had health issues in the future.nnSecond visit for another UTI six months later, 05/2025. However unfortunate getting another UTI was, I was glad I was in good hands here at Carbon Health. I see a different doctor this time, Mellisa Chancellor, she prescribes me the same antibiotic that I had taken 6 months ago. I express that im unsure about taking the same antibiotic again only 6 months later because of my history with chronic utis in the past. She says u201cdonu2019t be nervous, just come back if they donu2019t worku201d and dismisses me, leaving the room while Iu2019m visibly anxious and in distress. I left in tears.nnThatu2019s not what I want to hear, I donu2019t want to be dealing with reoccurring/chronic UTIu2019s. I want to be listened to and treated properly with attention and care.nnI mistakenly assumed that she would preform a urine culture test to ensure I had no antibiotic resistance to the antibiotics she had prescribed me. The doctor 6 months ago had done so without me asking, therefore I believed this was just policy.nnOne day after starting the antibiotics I begin to pee copious amounts of blood. I message my doctor through the app and she reassures me that it will take a couple doses to see an improvement. My symptoms were getting worse and she dismissed it. But, I felt better being reassured by her as I was trusting the doctor at an organization I respected.nnAfter a couple days I thought it was strange the results from the urine culture test hadnu2019t come in so I messaged her through the app again. This time a different doctor replied to me saying that my urine wasnu2019t sent in for a culture test since 6 months is ample time to before reusing an antibiotic.nnHad the doctor not listened to me about my history with chronic utis?nn2 weeks after my initial visit on 05/05/25 I visit a different carbon health nearby for a check up on my UTI. I donu2019t feel comfortable visiting the carbon health on grand anymore. Iu2019m hopeful that the UTI is gone but I donu2019t feel 100% better so I fear the infection still lingers. My doctor at this carbon health agrees that I should not have been prescribed that same medication. Sheu2019s also very kind and listens to what I have to say. She asks me questions and tells me tips to avoid getting UTIs that Iu2019ve never heard a doctor say out loud or in writing to me. She even says u201csorry Iu2019m just covering all the basicsu201d, because thatu2019s what she believes is basic knowledge. Thankfully I know all of this because Iu2019ve done extensive research on UTIs and how to prevent them. But no doctor had bothered to take the time to tell me these basic rules and practices. This is at least the 8th doctor Iu2019ve seen for UTIs.nnAnd now my UTI has survived a 7 day long antibiotic doseu2026 it has gotten stronger, even harder to fight with antibiotics. This feels like a never ending cycle and fills me with anxiety. Iu2019m 23, they say UTIs can become more common with age and harder to detect. Could this have been avoided had my second doctor at carbon health taken my concerns seriously? Yes.nnAt a time when mistrust in doctors is so high itu2019s shameful to see a doctor dismissing a patient clearly in distress and not taking the adequate steps to provide proper care.

I was so pleasantly surprised - amazing overall! The receptionist / front technician was really friendly, informative, and just put me at ease. It wasnu2019t busy at all. I came a few minutes before my appointment and was able to immediately check in. There was no wait time from checking in to being escorted to a room. They let my partner accompany me into to the room. Once in the room, we were immediately seen by a nurse and promptly our provider. I felt our provider really actively listened to me, included my partner and made sure her questions were answered too, and really assured I understood everything we covered. She even had a pride sticker on her laptop which made me feel safe. I rarely walk away from a doctor office feeling impressed, let alone wanting to leave a review, but this truly was a great experience!
