Dr Saylor has more than met my expectations for a concierge physician and geriatrician. She responds promptly to my questions and concerns as voiced by phone or email. She is knowledgeable - and listens carefully to what she hears from me. She pays a home visit when necessary. She was a mainstay for me during my lengthy bout with Covid19. u201cThe good physician treats disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the diseaseu201d Sir William Osler, himself a great physician. My family members have unfortunately been attended by a great many physicians over the years, and some of them were good, but very seldom were any great by that definition. Dr. Saylor is one of the great ones. From our first conversation, it was clear that she saw us not as u201cthe gallbladder in #313u201d but as real people with real needs and real suffering, which she was anxious to alleviate as much as possible. And her good attitude and good intentions are accompanied by excellent skills and lively intelligence. She keeps up with the literature and knows how things work. And perhaps most unusual of all, she is excited and glad to learn new things, rather than feeling challenged or threatened if the patient has new data or hard questions. She finds things that other doctors have missed and she follows up on her findings with diligence and creativity if the standard solution isnu2019t working. Sickness is not itself a blessing but it can occasionally afford an opportunity for blessings, and knowing Dr. Saylor definitely has been a blessing for us.

I knew I was in safe hands even as I was signing up to be Dr. Saylor's patient. Having seen her a few times now, I have a great sense of relief. She is remarkably attentive, intelligent, personable. Absolutely no sense of hurry. On top of getting and familiarizing my medical records and initiating recommendations. I cannot speak too highly of her or of my satisfaction.
