I had been a patient here for over a decade... when dr. Brooks was with dr. Goodman. Then dr. Brooks joined this office, and my experience has been horrible since, especially with the front office. Boni Killian was who I began to see, and she was great... I would love to continue seeing her, but am leaving this office because of the office staff.nnThey dropped the ball several times getting a PA for my diabetic meds, causing me to go without for 3 weeks. When trying to schedule an appointment to get an updated A1C, Erin in the front office continued talking over me and became aggressive and rude. When I asked for the office manager because she was upsetting me, I was put on hold for a long period and no one ever picked up. I called back, and they did the same thing to me again. Regina is the office manager, and would not take my call.nnI do not recommend this office... this wasn't the first time they were rude and nasty, but I kept going because I liked Boni and felt comfortable with her. The face of an office is the front staff, and unfortunately, this office has zero compassion or people skills.

Each time I visit this office, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable of their position. Ruth is a joy to assist with greeting and checking vitals, directing to a room and reviewing medications. Dr. Sanderson is very patient, listening to all concerns and taking time to evaluate the medical situation. He makes me feel as if I am the only patient he has. His care goes beyond the medical to listening to any personal concerns. I have been very satisfied with this practice since it started.nIt is my pleasure to write a review.

I have been a patient for over 15 years, and EVERY experience I have had has been excellent...every one! Dr. Sanderson is an outstanding physician. I have never felt rushed - always carefully listened to. He understands the connection between mind and body. He is insightful and knowledgeable. This practice also has an after hours physician available by phone. At 3:00 in the morning, that provides intense relief from worry.

Though I have moved to Charlotte in 2016, I have continued to see Dr. Sanderson and his team at Catawba Valley Family Medicine North Hickory because I so appreciate Dr. Sanderson's unhurried and patient-centered approach, as well as the warm welcome and efficient service that I receive from everyone in his office. Dr. Sanderson takes time to listen, to carefully explain what is going on with my health and still manages to engage with me on a personal level. I am so grateful to have a place that offers professional treatment but also provides comfort, compassion and reassurance. My last visit could have not have gone more smoothly. If you are and established patient there you can't even get an appointment if you are sick. They want you to go to an urgent care. Why have a Dr there if you can't be seen there when you need them? My mom not feeling well and I called to get her an appointment. Next available appointment they can see her is September 14th.
