I had an excellent experience in the ER. Despite reading some mixed reviews online, I was genuinely impressed by the level of care I received. The staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly organizedu2014everyone communicated clearly and worked together seamlessly.nnThey made a difficult day feel manageable through their compassion and professionalism. Iu2019m truly grateful for how I was treated and would absolutely return again if I needed emergency care. Thank you to the entire ER team for going above and beyond.

The ED at Cooley Dickinson is the worst. The care I received there was pure garbage. The doctors are total perks and I feel sorry for the staff that work under them. One time I went there with my wife. I had and still have a wound on my foot. I started to bleed really bad. We were begging the staff to help and only my wife would help me. Another time I went there for excriutiating pain in my right hip. I had been told a few years before that that my hip joint was down to bone over bone. A time after that they said it was all bloody inside. This time they denied that there was even a problem with the joint in my hip. The doctors said it was arthritis. They discharged me as a result.nI wouldn't recommend that ED to my worst enemy.nIf you are lucky enough and sick enough to get past the ED and get sent upstairs it is a different story. I was on North 3 for three months around a year ago. I was treated well on that floor.nA time after that I was on West 5. I fell twice in one night while on that unit. They didn't even examine me. I fell and hurt my left hip and hit my head on the floor. To this day I have a big bulge sticking out where my hip is. That was neglect. They sent me from West 5 down to North 3. They found out that my blood pressure was dropping when I sat up or stood up. I was discharged from there without them finding out what caused it.

Had a stress test with irregular ekg. Got scheduled one week later for a nuclear stress test. Again an irregular ekg and got those results on patient portal right away. As for the radiology was told I would have results in the afternoon. Never got them. Called in the morning. Was told to give them another 48 hours to read it.nSeriously, I have two irregular stress tests and radiology is treating this like a sprained ankle.nI should have had the second stress the nuclear test scheduled at Baystate.nnOnly reason two star is the staff and techs were great in nuclear medicine I was treated very very well. This is a review of the radiologist and hospital. Really cannot believe I am waiting for radiology before my appointment with Baystate cath lab.nAnother thing I learned DO NOT schedule your cath lab with Cooley. They are DIAGNOSTIC ONLY! They cannot put a stent in. Do you end up having to go to Baystate anyway.nBottom line if youu2019re have a non nuclear stress Cooley is fine and the staff top notch really helpful. However, if you have to follow up with a nuclear stress test go straight to Baystate for the nuclear stress test.

Giving 1 star, because some of the staff have been very nice. When my mother was in the ER I made a decision about her care based on information provided at the time. Family decided for comfort care as we were told she would be admitted for it. On less than 24 hoy they decided to transfer her to another facility for hospice. If I had known she was going to be transferred in less than 24 hours to places with low quality of care ( choices offered) my decision will had been different.

I donu2019t recommend bringing your kids here my son fell down and hurt his arm nothing was broken but my wife and I rushed him to the emergency room as fast as we could. While we was there for hours they took it upon themselves to file a 51 an against us claiming abuse. Which is a pretty serious allegation. Dcf showed up and did there investigation and even told us to never go to there hospital again. I should not be scared to take my children to the hospital when they get hurt. Looking into suing them for there false allegations and defamation of character
