Been paying the account. Made 2 payments and they took it to collections. I am trying to pay them. Now they want me to pay their in house collection agency because, u201citu2019s like paying us.u201d No itu2019s not. Cape Fear Valley accepted my money. I was paying. Cape fear valley said too slow- go to collections. The account is not even 6 months old. Disappointed and frustrated.

Awful. Theyu2019ve earned every low score given. If they could have nagetive atars on Google reviews it would actually be more appropriate. Sending bills to collections instead of to minor childu2019s home. Canu2019t link the bills in My Chart. How are we supposed to see what we are paying for then?? When I asked for the fourth time to have bills sent to me she acted like I was inconveniencing her. Do you want my money or not Cape Fear?? Shameful.

I have Medicare and Plan G with BCBS with a 240.00 deductible..I have spent hours doing a graph of all charges and there are charges I don't understand and according to Medicare I should NOT pay....example I am being billed for a charge that Medicare paid but according to BCBS wasn't submitted properly to them or they would pay the difference...they should follow through before charging without the supplement being used..Medicare said I owe Zero...I have received numerous texts in just one week.so stressful..person on phone was in a hurry and obviously did not listen or understand Medicare and Plan G..I will call and escalate to hospital administration if I can't resolve. Will try one more time to call before escalating.

Cape Fear valley made a charge on my card and I have not been to them in 2.5 years mainly because they are incompetent. I called the billing departments and they stated that they did not see a bill or charge. But could offer no solution. If all charges come through them and are posted on MY CHART... then why no bill. I received nothing in the mail.Also, the card that was charged was a new card with a different expiration date and code. So how was there a charge if I have not been to Cape Fear or any of its affiliates..Update to post....I discovered the charge was from the HealthPlex to which I am a recent member. As such I apologize that it was not their error but mine. So yes I guess I have been to one of their affiliates.

Received two statements for a bill that I owed to Harnett Health. Made a payment each time I received my bill. Tried to call the business office to set up a payment plan and could NEVER get through to speak with anyone. They turned my bill into collections (which was paid immediately) but seriously?! I was willing to work with this hospital to make payments directly to them. All they had to do was answer the telephone. Not to mention when bill was turned into collections it was under my motheru2019s name! I am 26 years old. Very disappointed. Will never return to any cape fear valley health facility after this experience.
