Iu2019ve seeing Doctor Holtzman on October. I was hesitant because I donu2019t like driving in areas that I am not familiar with. But he was very helpful. While I unfortunately still do not have a specific diagnosis, Dr. Holtzman did order blood tests that helped narrow down my condition. This helping me get to the correct specialist. He also did not try to interfere or change the meds my other doctors gave me on. Many doctors do that and it leaves such a mad taste in my mouth. Dr. Holtzman is very unconventional and pops an occasional curse word out but is very fun and caring .i recommend .nn***EDIT****nI saw Dr. Holtzman a few days after I wrote my initial review via video telehealth. I am aghast at the 1 u2b50ufe0f reviews. I get he may not be everyoneu2019s cup of tea or what on expects upon first meeting him. BUT I stand by my review. While doctor wasnu2019t able to give me an answer I wanted or an immediate answer to my issues he do explain things clearly and encouraged me to continue to seek treatment via another specialist outside of neurology. Everything was explained in laymanu2019s terms. And he was very compassionate to me! I am so appreciative of his honesty!

I've been seeing Dr. Matthew Holtzman for a couple years now. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands. Even with physical therapy and wearing the brace, my condition worsen to the point of needing an injection. I was scared and tearful. Dr. Holtzman was kind, caring and reassuring. The injection gave me a new lease on life and I couldn't be happier. I didn't get a chance to see Dr. Holtzman when I came for a routine injection a couple week ago, but I met the new PA there, a very sweet and high energy young man named Joseph Sabra. The office staff is always friendly and accommodating. Doc, PA and staff make a great team. I highly recommend Wayne Neurology.u263aufe0f

I've been seeing Dr. Holtzman for years now and will continue to do so for the years to come. I admit that Dr. Holtzman isn't your typical neurologist. He is loud and goofy and cusses occasionally. I understand that he is not everyone's cup of tea, but it's these traits that made me feel more at ease with him. I've been to so many doctors that are cold and uptight. They sometimes don't feel like real, genuine people. The most important thing is Dr. Holtzman knows what he is doing. He is extremely knowledgeable. He also spends a decent amount of time in the room with you and makes sure to cover everything you are concerned about. I have MS and because of him I found a treatment that is perfect for me! I forget that I even have MS, that's how well things are going! I also worked at Wayne Neurology years before Dr. Holtzman came there, but never worked with him. I know that some patients are not always there for the right reasons and some can become vindictive when things do not go their way.

I would like to formally address some of the concerns that were raised in the negative reviews.nWe value our patients very much at our office and we try extremely hard To test appropriately And treat our patients with the most evidence-based medicine available with Best and safest treatments possible.nIt should be noted that not all patients who come to our office are here looking to get better from their symptoms and diseases.nMany patients who come to our office are looking for disability documentation or dangerous medication, such as sedatives and narcotics which we do not prescribe or provide.nOur office prides itself on integrity, and as such, we cannot provide inappropriate therapies or treatments to patient and will not declare patients disabled simply because they do not believe they should have to work.nPracticing evidence based compassionate medicine, unfortunately means that some patients will not be happy with the outcome, especially if they Do not receive what they came to our office looking for. We feel it is very important to be consistent, across-the-board. We try extremely hard to treat all patients equally, try only to help patients and not to harm patients and to respect all patients autonomy and not to force treatments on patient that they disagree with.nWhile not responding to any particular review due to HIPAA restrictions, it is important to note that these reviews are one-sided and often come from disgruntled patients who are not looking for medical care, but were looking for disability or controlled substances. If a potential patient or current, patient has a concern with our office we would always be more than happy to sit down and discuss our position free of charge. we are happy to work with people who legitimately are looking to get better and treat Their diseases legitimately.nWe Never discriminate against patients based on race, religion, gender, or any other lifestyle Choices. We respect all people And look to help all of our patients. While they we do try to make the office atmosphere non-threatening and enjoyable and though I do at times were slippers in the office I do not feel this compromises our commitment to patient care.nIf any of the reviewers below would like to give a HIPAA release so that we may discuss their particular case and grievances in a public forum I would be happy to give the other side of the story. In the meantime, however, patient confidentiality and federal law prohibits me from directly responding to any of the below allegations.

Regret wasting my Two hours waiting to see Doctor Holtzman. He was the most uncaring doctor I ever met. I Came in with a concussion, (on the job injury) I Let him know that I was constantly dizzy, and nauseous. The only test he did was like a sobriety test, have me stand up and touch my nose. 1. He wanted to send me back to work without asking me what kind of work I was in 2. prescribed me anti-depressant medication, which The side effects will cause me to have suicidal thoughts (very scary) He only told me that the side effects will cause drowsiness. 3. He refused to write any restrictions for me at work Because he didnu2019t want to get involved of the legality of Workmenu2019s Comp. He said he was not an insurance worker, Mind you the doctors appointment I had before him (the Neck doctor) wanted to take me off of work. My hopes of going to see this neurologist, That I will be healed not taking some medication that will make my situation worse. Doctor Holtzman In my opinion is uncaring and very arrogant.
