Let me start with the positives. We had a very quick experience for a sports physical in and out, which was awesome! The treating PA was nice enough, thorough and quick. The lady that came to clean out our room after we were leaving super friendly super sweetu2026great. The lady at the front desk, sheu2019s worked there a long time, think sheu2019s nice, never have a bad experience with her. Now for the not so greatu2026 whatever the job title is of the lady that brought us back did the weighing and the height and the vision test oh my God, what a miserable soul, miserable miserable, hates her life, hates her job, hates peopleu2026 I believe she needs to find a new profession one where sheu2019s working with inanimate objects.

Receptionist was nice, nurses were great, so was the doctor. Only issue was a 2 hr wait. Other than that, very positive experience.

Upon arrival, we were promptly checked in and placed in a room within 15 minutes. However, we experienced a significant delay, waiting for approximately an hour while staff members took their lunch break and engaged in conversation IN THE ROOM NEXT TO US (I cannot make this up).nnI predict that the staff's lunch break took place from 12 to 1 pm, coinciding with their return to work. I advised my husband to remain silent, as medical professionals possess considerable power. Although he was becoming frustrated, it was clear that the floor was empty for an hour.nnWe were eventually seen by a nurse who inquired about medication allergies, and I responded that I had no new allergies. The nurse then aggressively pointed out that I had a list of existing allergies like she was calling me out for lying. I told her I canu2019t remember all of them. I have mast cell activation syndrome, so the list goes on.nnThe nurse's demeanor was brusque, which is consistent with my past experiences with this individual. For a patient who feels horrible in that moment, and is foggy headed, her aggressiveness and accusatory attitude was not appreciated.nnUpon arrival, the physician exhibited noticeable signs of anxiety and hyperactivity, adopting a defensive stance, as if inquiring, 'What do you require from me?'nnThe physician assistant informed me that their testing capacity was restricted to Covid-19 alone due to my reported symptoms, which included fever, body aches, cold sweats, nausea, and weakness. I expressed concern that these symptoms could indicate an infection, but the physician assistant stated that he recently had Covid-19 and antibiotics arenu2019t recommended. He refused to test for other potential illnesses such as the flu or strep, despite my recent exposure. He said I was young enough and healthy enough to fight this on my own. I was disappointed by the lack of compassion shown by the nurse and physician assistant, particularly given my pre-existing condition of mast cell activation syndrome. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to seek care elsewhere, which is regrettable as there are other good skilled medical professionals within this group.nnAlthough I'm unable to recall all of their names, the woman who handled our checkout was exceptionally friendly, and Ashton has demonstrated remarkable nursing skills, exhibiting a gentle touch with our child. I wish there was a system in place allowing patients to request a specific nurse or doctor, excluding those with undesirable bedside manners, which would make me more inclined to return.nnWe generally avoid posting negative reviews, choosing to recognize good behavior. Yet, I felt it crucial to write this review, given the multiple circumstances my husband, daughter and I have had with these 2 specific healthcare providers. The facility's future is at risk if they fail to address the concerns raised in multiple negative reviews.nnUPDATE 1 week later: NO COVID Following a return visit to urgent care in Grand Ledge, I was diagnosed with pneumonia and will receive necessary treatment with antibiotics and steroids, underscoring the importance of timely medical attention.

Went in for a blistered throat, no meds for pain were prescribed, waited 3 days for a throat culture to return which is normal, but the PA who works there never called me to tell me the results or come up with a Plan B to subside the pain. Forunately I had an appt with my PCP that following Monday and meds were finally prescribed, nailing it with a correct diagnosis. This is my 2nd bad experience with this Urgent Care and lack of skills needed to treat their patients correctly. As a Healthcare worker myself, I am so sad to think this is how they treat their patients, unacceptable follow up!
