Dr. Zderic and his entire team/staff are incredible! My son had surgery and I can't tell you how much stress was relieved due to the fact that every single staff member met us with a smile, care and compassion. My son was comfortable and well taken care of. I was truly impressed and thankful for our experience. Thank you Dr. Zderic and staff for being amazing and taking such good care of my son. I also want to mention that this facility is immaculate and extremely clean and well maintained!

I want to emphasize before I write this that I have been in hospitals that have u201clostu201d my hospital visit records and have u201clostu201d my blood after taking it as well. I never left reviews for them. What ABSOLUTELY FLOORED ME today was the lack of empathy from Dr. OReilly in otolaryngology. My daughter has had over 20 ear infections since she was 7 months old and is now three. I scheduled a surgery in November for today. No one explained to me that she would not be guaranteed surgery and would be checked to ensure she is eligible beforehand, would have been nice to know. He said she was not eligible according to insurance standards. Alright, thatu2019s fine. What was not fine was how he presented it. He said u201cyeah sheu2019s not getting surgery today, her ears look perfect.u201d Then said because she hasnu2019t had two infections. Obviously she has had more than that so I said I was confused and he clarified it has to be more than two in three months. I then started to get upset because it is stressful to watch your child get sick repeatedly and to lose so much time from work for treatment of infections. He explained that this is an insurance thing and thatu2019s why they canu2019t do it. I told them I understand but he continued to tell me that most children u201cget worse symptoms and more sick than her.u201d His whole attitude was very nonchalant as I was visibly getting shaky in my voice explaining my concerns about watching her get sick over and over. The lack of humanity and empathy in his voice really infuriated me. I donu2019t even care that she wasnu2019t eligible but he had a condescending attitude. Her dad took her to her first appointment and apparently had a similar experience. If you want CARING doctors, donu2019t go here. Staff other than him was wonderful and the place was immaculately clean. Thatu2019s the only positives.

Just got quoted over $800 WITH insurance to get my child an x-ray. This was a follow up after a trip to an urgent care when my daughter broke her arm (a $40 appt including x-ray). CHOP is pricing families out of care because too many accounts are u201cin collectionsu201d. Patients are unhappy. Doctors are unhappy. Will be pulling my childrenu2019s pediatric care out of the CHOP system. Disgusting. Go anywhere else.

Good luck getting an appointment. Iu2019ve had to call to schedule 4 so far and itu2019s always an ordealu2014 never just a simple process as it should be. I have called for months and am told u201cthe schedule isnu2019t doneu201d call back. I did this 5 times before asking when the schedule would be made so I can stop wasting time on hold every few weeks. They said to call back one month prior to schedule our follow up. I did that just now and am being told thereu2019s no appointments for months. I followed their direction only for my sonu2019s care to be delayed by 6 weeks. I would take your child ANYWHERE but here.
