I had a disappointing experience at this urgent care. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was unhelpful and dismissive. I was on crutches and clearly in pain, yet the receptionist made me stand and wait while she took a phone call, only to tell me after several minutes that I could sit and wait to be calledu2014something she couldu2019ve said right away.nnOnce I was finally called in, I had to wait again before seeing the PA, who spent very little time with me and gave almost no useful information. I had specifically chosen this location because their website said they do walk-ins and offer X-rays, but no one told me until I was already being checked out that the X-ray tech wouldnu2019t be available until after 9 PM. They gave me a list of other CityMD locations, but when I called one, they also didnu2019t have X-ray servicesu2014good thing I checked. I eventually had to go all the way to 37th Street to get it done.nnEven then, no doctor was available to review the results with me, and I was told someone would call. That call never came. I had to follow up myself the next morning, and while the front desk apologized and gave a basic overview of the results, I still didnu2019t get any clear guidance on what I should or shouldnu2019t do with my injury.nnOverall, it felt like a complete waste of time. Poor communication, lack of empathy, and no real support during a painful and frustrating experience.

I don't think I need to school anyone in how much going to see the doctor sucks - because it does and you know it.nBut, every once in a while you go to a local or random urgent center and the people there are cooler than You (and definitely nicer than most other people you know.)nnThis specific location has a some of the most respectful, diligent, kind, and professional people working there; I noticed it right away.nnThe 3 specific people I interacted with are exactly those I hope you run into if ever you go:n- Chantanik: she's gonna be the one to greet you - no one's gonna get you in or out of there faster. We love her, mkay? She's the bomb.comn- Anthony Huff: ..mah guy went to Yale! Say less. (Very seriously though - he took extremely good care of me and answered annoying question i had without fail.)n- Jovanna: ....in all honesty you'd be better off just shutting your eyes during the intake cuz she's like - WHOA hot. Ofcourse, this is an actual review so we can't exactly lead with that; and shouldn't - because she was just genuinely helpful and kind. If the world's lucky she'll stick around and become a PA; exactly the kind of healthcare professional you'd want to treat your kid. She's just warm and good at what she does.nn...also, any losers out here on the UES writing anything but the truth can feel free to pick one and suck it.nnStay healthy out there!

I have had several emergencies addressed here over the past few years and every time the doctors have been excellent. Yes, sometimes the wait times are a little too long and sometimes the front desk staff is rude. But every time Iu2019ve had an emergency health need (fingers cut open requiring stitches, potential broken foot requiring an X-ray, infection needing antibiotics, COVID in the early days) outside of normal business hours, this place comes through. Nurses and doctors are usually friendly and professional. Most recently Dr. Gallagher was amazing. Would definitely recommend for Urgent Care needs!

The front desk staff at this facility fell short of providing a welcoming experience. Unfortunately, they seemed dismissive and rude, avoiding eye contact and mumbling responses without using basic manners. When I asked questions, they would pause, leaving me in awkward silence.nnIn contrast, the clinical staff were kind, well-mannered, and provided efficient care. The wait time was minimal, and we were in and out quickly.nnTo improve the overall experience, I suggest providing the clerical staff with a crash course training on customer care and basic manners.

On-site service with doctors great. Trying to get help over the phone regarding your visit horrible. Called 4x transfer to aftercare twice and hung up on. Called again sent to VM box. My mother was with me as I was getting the run around so she decided to try on her phone and same happened when transferred. Called back she was given a number to call. We call and get someone trying to push us to enter in a chance to win $100
