I received one bill for a service from 7 months prior stating that it was the final notice before being sent to collections in 2 business days. I had never been given a notice. There was no ability to pay online and the bill looked fraudulent. The person on the phone was rude and acted like I was stupid for not knowing what the charges were for.

I am very disappointed in this service. I received 2 months of supplies for my child and it was on time. I was told my insurance would cover to a certain amount not knowing that the price for the formula I was receiving was set for $180 when retail was $36. My insurance only covered half. In the long run I could have saved money going to the store using coupons from the manufacturer. I have called numerous times to make sure the price was correct and they keep giving me a phone number to a CPAP education center. I feel like this service is taking advantage of families that are in a bad spot.

If I could give zero stars I would. IU Health Homecare and Hospice is one of the worst bill collectors I have ever dealt with. They are rude, unreasonable and apparently don't have the capability to set up autopay. Its like the dark ages. They are unprofessional and donu2019t respond to reasonable requests either. They are also trigger happy with putting your name in collections for a sum of money less than $50 for a delayed payment I knew nothing about. It is ridiculous.nnSo if you don't want your credit score axed, I would go elsewhere.

[Updated review: changing from one star to five stars. I learned there were significant problems with the insurance where I worked and IU Health Homecare. I have since retired, am receiving supplies through Medicare, have had no problems with them since going on Medicare, and really cannot say enough nice things about them. Other employees where I worked have said the same thing about IU Health Home before and after retiring and going on Medicare, so the problem IS with the insurance where we worked.]nnTheir products are good. They're very good at matching up exactly the right supplies needed for the correct CPAP machine.nnTheir billing absolutely SUCKS. Health care reimbursement accounts require a statement showing date of service. I ordered supplies in December, 2020 and stated specifically that I needed a statement from them which showed date of service. I received a statement from them which did NOT have a date of service, dated January 4, 2021: therefore, I could claim supplies for reimbursement on 2020. I called about the status of the $98 which was due and was told the amount had been paid by insurance. Today I received a letter from a collection agency showing that the bill for $98 had been turned over to collections.nnAnother bill for $36 had been paid because I mailed in the payment and had the cancelled check to prove it. It, too, was turned over to collections. This way, they get paid *twice*.nnIf you make the mistake of calling Home Health Billing to complain, they will retaliate by turning *every single bill* over to collection without ever sending you a statement with the actual date of service.nnTheir billing department is, frankly, retaliatory. If you can find another source to get your CPAP supplies, I strongly urge to to use that source.

Is a zero possible? IU Health Homecare has been fraudulently billing my husbands Medicare account since JUNE of this year. My husband returned his CPAP Machine on June 6 and his account has continued to be billed up to and including this month, October 2023. He has called repeatedly and no one will help take care of this problem.
