The service at the hospital is just okay, but the billing is absolutely terrible. We've always had problems with the billing at the hospital. We apparently owed money on some small visits that we never received bills for, then when I paid online for a surgery, the money instead goes to pay off the smaller and older bills first because we can't specify which bills specifically to apply the money to when we pay online.nnWe finally received a bill for the rest of the amount owed on the surgery (which I thought we had paid off) 8-9 months after the surgery, along with a bill for a walk in clinic visit 4 months previous.nnThe billing at the hospital is very slow, and sometimes you won't even get a bill, then find out months later that you still owe money. A couple years ago, the hospital sent bills straight to collections after 2 months, even if you were paying on the bill. We were making payments on a surgery in 2018 and had to call and find out why our bill went to a collection company even though we were paying well over the minimum payment. They said at the time that every bill went to collections after 2 months. They must have stopped doing this because our most recent bill didn't go to collections.nnWe've had surgeries in other facilities in other cities and their billing was fast and accurate, not sure why our hospital's billing is so terrible, slow, and confusing (and has been terrible for years).

Typically I would rate this establishment at a good 4...BUT I took my daughter there for a sprained ankle (not an emergency) and I tried to skip the wait before I left my house in Wright, but the page said no check in times available online. I get there at 5:30 pm and a sign is taped to the door informing me that they stopped accepting patients at 4:45pm due to high volume. We could see in, there wasn't a single person in that waiting room. Instead I had to take her to the ER (which costs a lot more) they were wonderful. But I just can't believe they'd stop taking clinic patients 3 hours and 15 minutes before closing. Seriously.

My son tried to commit suicide on the Friday of a holiday weekend. He was forcefully admitted. Spent 3 days staring at a TV screen. Never saw a doctor. Never got counseling. $14 k bill. We refused to pay. The total is OVER HALF of our annual income. Tried to get things worked out. Now it's in collections.nDon't go here for mental health. Especially not in an emergency.

I suggest you don't waste your time and your patience in coming to this clinic for pediatric care. The schedulers are VERY disorganized and mismanaged our appointments not once, but twice in a week for an appointment that has been scheduled a year in advance. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened either. My bad for giving them another chance. Save yourself the headache and find another pediatrician's office that is competent.

The billing department makes you never want to associate with this facility. They fail time and time again, ignore messages left, state they canu2019t call and deal with insurance companies.. and then turn you over to collection and wash their hands. They make the mistakes, really donu2019t have the desire to fix them. The argue on how to bill, when you have the insurance companies tell them the right way, they seem to state, u201cwell we didnu2019t have that information!!u201d Seriously?? Yes you did! They cause havoc for families and personally, I would rather drive 2 hours to other facilities then subject myself to the horrors of their department.
