I'm not usually one to leave reviews, especially after mild instances of poor care or service, but my visit to the CMM in Avon was unequivocally the worst visit I've ever had to a medical facility. I walked in to the front desk and mentioned that I was pretty sure I had a broken collarbone (it was pretty clear to me, pretty clear to my brother, and pretty clear to the ski patrolman that gave me a lift to the bottom of the mountain) and I would like to get some x-rays to confirm it. After a brief one-armed sign-in process I sat in the reception area for an hour (no ice/ibruprofen/etc was offered). After an hour, I was finally called back to one of the patient rooms where I sat (by myself) for another 45 minutes (no ice/ibruprofen/etc was offered). After those 45 minutes a PA came in and took a quick look (2 minutes or less) at my disfigured shoulder and said she would order an x-ray (still no ice or ibuprofen). I went and got an x-ray, which they read as negative (i.e. normal). PA came back into the room and told me they didn't know what's wrong and sent me on my way with a $23 sling that I paid for on my way out, a single ibuprofen and a suggestion that I see an orthopedic specialist when I get back to Denver. After my one-armed drive back to Denver I was able to get in to see an orthopedic specialist who confirmed that the CMM/Vail Health x-rays were useless (bad images/bad angles/etc) and I would need new images ($$$). CMM told me that Vail Health was to blame for the bad x-rays and incorrect reading of those x-rays (I did get a separate bill for the x-rays from Vail Health). The new images, predictably, showed a clavicle broken in multiple places. So to sum it all up, I was billed a few hundred bucks to sit in waiting rooms by myself with a broken clavicle for multiple hours (w/o ice or pain reducers) just to be seen for less than 10 minutes and to leave without a diagnosis (other than erroneously being told my clavicle wasn't broken).

I am quite disappointed with my recent appointment with Dr. Paige Monnet. A five-minute consultation seems excessively expensive at $250. Before beginning, I politely inquired about the cost, and she estimated $40-60, considering insurance coverage. Unfortunately, she did not provide an accurate diagnosis or solution to my problem.

I went here in early March to after a snowboarding accident. I asked the front desk person how much I owed for a co-pay after doing my intake. She said we don't know yet until we process the claim. I asked her again on my way out. It turns out this clinic was out-of-network with my insurance and what should have been a $50 bill is now $465. The woman could have absolutely told me that I was out of network with my insurance or suggested I check with my insurance before giving me care. I feel duped.

I was coming to see the doctor because I was very sick. They said the next one is 10:30, which is 2 hours wait, thatu2019s fine. When they finally called me in, they did some check ups and testing. The doctor concluded I got the Virus. But she didnu2019t gave me any medicine, or a flu shot or something. The only thing she told me go home and rest. How can I rest since I look so pale? Other than that, they charged me $208 for the doctor visit, which is help me nothing. The Vail health system is a joke. The whole administration does a very good to make sure the patient pay their bill. Please take care of your patients properly rather than their money. STOP BEING GREEDY!Later on, I bought the Tylenol cold severe and took it a few times. Now I can able to get up and walk.I gave it 2 stars because the doctor is nice.

I was so disappointed by my service here. I first called before coming and was told out of pocket would be $200-300 u201cdepending on what I get doneu201d. The woman at the front desk suddenly told me itu2019s $345 which I thought okay itu2019s a lot more than I was expecting but not too off from the original quote. Then she tells me she u201chad the wrong pay codeu201d and the price shot up to $465. Seems like a damn scam to me. They couldnu2019t even tell me whatu2019s wrong with me and I had to beg for a drs note which was stupid cos they put that Iu2019m able to go to work right away. I was 10000% not okay enough to even go to work.
