This hospital has done a complete turn around as far as quality of health care that used to be subpar at times in the past. Now under the management of Albany medical center you can be more confident of the care you will receive here. Recently my father had to stay here for a week following a new cardiac diagnosis at the ER and at first we were skeptical of staying here because of past experiences but after our exponential the ER here we felt confident enough to stay here. While in the ER after diagnosis he was admitted pretty much instantly to a room and it was a private room and updated and the care he received was comforting . He doesnu2019t like staying at hospitals u2026who does but we were surprised and many things we expected to be typical of our past experiences but he was very satisfied with the attentiveness of the staff and even wise the food was good and hot. He was here a wrk and discharged with follow up appointments . With his new cardiac doctor. itu2019s nice to see that they have worked out the past kinks and turned this place around and you have a local hospital that you trust will give you decent care when the time arrives and not have to worry about going hours away to receive good healthcare.

Elaine jowarski u201cdiagnosedu201d me with a C-section defect (niche) with just my symptoms, no imaging or past doctor records, or ultrasounds and had me scheduled for a partial hysterectomy at just 27 years old. She also told me when I questioned how she would know that this is what has been causing my bleeding for two years straight since having my son, that this was a niche without seeing it on imaging, she told me she trusts others doctors and my symptoms tell her that I have a niche. And either I can take birth control to manage the bleeding, do a partial hysterectomy since I do not want to have more kids, or deal with it for the rest of my life, that it wonu2019t harm me itu2019ll just be annoying. I am now being seen by a doctor who is going to perform more extensive imaging than just a regular ultrasound, which I have had done three times now in a separate office that is not Elaineu2019s, again I had no testing or imaging done here, since there was no abnormalities seen in my uterus on a regular ultrasound. Thankfully I am being taken care of and heard. I have been bleeding vaginally for 2 and a half years straight since my c section getting turned away from doctors who have no answers and only offer birth control for abnormal bleeding, NOT an irregular period !!! This office wants money from your insurance and doesnu2019t give a crap about you, or finding out whatu2019s really wrong with you.nn* and would like to add this is not just bleeding, it is pieces of nasty brown tissue looking stuff and disgusting goopy unexplainable stuff coming out, looks similar to what you pass after having kids but nastier. This has been ruining my life for two and a half years

I have to admit I'm shocked at the low reviews. However,as a person who struggles with chronic illness and pain, I do not wish on anyone, ever, I've unfortunately dealt with the absolute crap treatment by other hospitals when I lived in NJ. Your treatment as a patient usually depends on how good your insurance is and dealing with staff, that has no concept of being in your world everyday. I'm new to Green County and this Hospital. My parents moved me up here, praying for better medical care and everyone from my new Primary to my Urologist there at the hospital, has been incredibly attentive and someone mentioned the feeling of God's presence there, it's true. My first visit, I got lost a few times and these amazing Angels were posted everywhere they needed to be. They were elder members of our community and were absolutely on the ball. With patience and knowledge of details and just their kindness, helped me stay calm and feel less stupid ud83dude04. From them to the Drs, Nurse Practitioners, that kind of excellence is rare these days. Short wait time while still giving patients, their undivided attention. I can't vouch for the ER. I've not experienced that yet at that hospital. But I have seen the EMTs and Paramedics at work with my own family. Considering the distances and situations they deal with, they are amazing. God bless and peace to you ALL.

I had a very bad fall. At this hospital I received efficient, thorough emergency care. It was a busy Saturday morning, yet they still managed to make me feel like I was getting individualized attention. I was in and out in a little under four hours, despite it being busy enough to require getting all my care in a hallway. They are hard workers, and it shows.

Ignored my son's allergic reaction for HOURS. Poor thing was literally crying out covered in hives that it hurt to breathe. Disrespectful nurse to me to shut him up. But they sure took a girl with a knee sprain in pronto. Grateful job CMH. Hes 3. To add to it, they treated him in the lobby. The DR was great with him though, respect to him but holy crap i wanna slap that girl at the desk.
