We should begin by saying that everything started around 10 p.m., when we walked into the emergency room. Our mom was admitted immediately, and within moments, the medical team began their examinations.nnEvery nurse, employee, and staff memberu2014no matter their roleu2014was incredibly kind and genuinely committed to doing their very best. The emergency physician, Dr. Russell was exceptionally positive, taking her time to explain all the possibilities with clarity and care.nnTheir ability to diagnose and act swiftly was truly impressive. Soon after, they transferred our mom to the hospital for closer monitoring and treatment. The process was seamless. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed into one of the cleanest, most organized roomsu2014truly comparable to a five-star hotel.nnEverything ran so smoothly, with outstanding coordination among the nurses, staff, and doctors. She was admitted to the 6th floor, and we must say that every single person we encountered was remarkably caring and attentive. From Nicole, the lively and wonderful nurse, to Rich, Tina, Dr. Morath and her colleagueu2014each of them left a deep impression on us.nnWe truly believe that the residents of Ventura are incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding hospital nestled in the heart of the city, thoughtfully placed without causing disruption to the flow of traffic. The parking structure is perfectly aligned with the hospital and emergency room, and the building itself is designed with great attention to detailu2014both practical and beautifulu2014with breathtaking views.nnOut of curiosity, we visited their website to learn more about the executive team. Itu2019s clear to us that the excellence we experienced is a reflection of outstanding leadership from top to bottomu2014and just as importantly, from the ground up.nnNot everything in life is about money or careers; there are aspects far more meaningful that remind us to be thankful for what we have. Our family is deeply grateful to the management, the extraordinary nurses, staff, and the dedicated doctors.nnWe sincerely wish them all good health and want them to know how much we appreciate having them in our community.nnMaryam & Marzi, on behalf of our mom (Parvin )

Dr. Eric Moll and his team in the ER, asking Crohn's and Colitis patients if they do meth? Dr. Moll suggested if my partner can keep ice down that he is good to go home and that he saw no reason to admit him. Don't you think its unhealthy for someone to only live off of ice? My partner has been sick for weeks and losing weight and USUALLY we wait the 6 hours for the ER just fine and eventually get admitted to ensure food is passing, Crohn's and Colitis is a condition that requires careful review on diet and stool. They sent him home with a hat to return his stool to their lab, and #8 pills. This is not normal, his stool is always examined in the hospital during his stay because if he has not eaten he cannot pass stool, the hospital treats him until he can eat again, instead they sent him home to struggle at home the same he's been doing past few weeks.nThe whole point of visiting the ER is to ensure he can pass food and stool and the ER team failed to do that. My partner has been coming to CMH for over a decade, they all had a new system they were fascinated with and everything they knew about him from his past visits was removed or outdated, registration needed the same details he provided in his last visit all over again.nAsking someone if they do meth?nHow could someone NOT take offense to that?nHow is this okay when you know this patient for over 10 years now, how do you see a reason to stray from his past treatments with CMH ER and Admitting?nThis is not a stomach ache, this is a Crohn's and Colitis patient.

Went to the ER on a Saturday morning for bad lower abdomen pain, vomiting & a bit of a fever. Arrived at 830 am and was sitting in a room with IV fluids, blood work and CT scan and EKG all being done within an hour. Little did I know my body was in sepsis from a blocked kidney stone and this hospital saved my life. I had emergency kidney surgery and was put into the ICU immediately after surgery and ended up staying there for 6 entire days. Every nurse and doctor I came across was an absolute angel. I was really well taken care of here despite all the bad reviews you see below. I am a young healthy 30 year old woman and itu2019s something I never thought would happen to me. This hospital and the nurses and doctors here were the best. Including the ER Dr. Fields who was the first one to see me of many doctors and specialists. They didnu2019t let me go home until they were 1000000% sure I was stable and good to go. They truly went above and beyond all my expectations

They are good sending your bill, but not to treat you. Went twice to E. R. For ulcerous colitis but just gave me morphine and some strong antibiotics that made me worst, got follow ups at their clinics and same thing, a month later having diarrhea with blood and having lost 30 lbs. Still no help and was told to wait 3 more weeks. Crazy, I would've died if I waited for them. I was weighing 125 lbs at this point, I drove to Corona Regional Medical Center, as soon I got there I got the help I needed, spend a week in the hospital, got proper medications and needed a blood transfusion due to not been able to eat and bleed for 5 weeks. In 1 day, they did what took CMH a Whole month. Thanks to them I'm still alive, NOT CMH, now I got a shit load of bills from CMH that didn't gave me any medical attention. Never stepping into this facility again. THANK YOU CMH FOR ALL YOUR BILLS, without treating your patients, just give them pain killers and charge thousands of dollars

I went there at 1:30 on Monday afternoon with abdominal pain. Within an hour I got a CT scan, and learned I have Diverticulitis. Had my first dose of Augmentin shortly after while still in the hospital room. The speed that every patient was seen was so impressive and the attitude of every professional there was fantastic. I'd also been there in December for a couple of days when my stepdaughter was in cardiac arrest from ALS, and their care then was so compassionate and top notch, which sure eased our pain in her passing. I hope you don't need to go here, but if you do, don't hesitate.
