Cox Monett ER has been soo nice to all my family members! Vickie Pence was very sweet and eager to listen to my feelings. Mike the nurse came in and started my IV. He was very gentle and kind! Shelli also took care of me as well! I would recommend these people to anyone! This is an example of an amazing hospital!

Everytime I have been here I have had an amazing experience! I have to thank this hospital for saving many of my family members lives such as my mom and grandma. Too many times the patients are terrible to the staff members. If a staff member seems a little short or upset give them a break because there's a good possibility that their patient they had just died or they did everything in their power to save a child and they couldn't. Cut them some slack their job in the ER is not easy at all! Thanks Cox Monett.

Completely unprofessional.nnThis hospital sent my wife home in excruciating pain on her spleen. They treated her like a drug addict even though she never requested pain medicine. And had had a scan 2 days prior for the EXACT REASON.nnShe had cysts all over her spleen and could barely walk from the pain, A high white blood cell count. And they sent her home... And the doctors did not even pass the information forward for 2nd and 3rd opinions.nnThis staff was incompetent because it seems like we had ruined their Christmas party. My wife is a registered LPNnnShe went to a follow-up appointment the next day at Mercy, thank God for a competent staff.nnIf you are in life-threatening pain. Do not go to this hospital anytime in the afternoon or evening. Lawsuits are on the way.nnThey should be ashamed.

I had a very concerning experience at home. I had some kind of seizure. I called my doctors office Cox Crane. I was instructed to go to the ER. I went to the Cox Monett Hospital. I was checked in and taken to a curtain room. After a few minutes another patient was brought back and put in the curtain room next to me. The patient was coughing constantly and stated that she thought she had contracted pneumonia for school. I am 63 years old and have a compromised immune system. I went back to the triage nurse and said I cant be in there with a sick patient. She said u201c Why Not u201c very rude !nI left the hospital. After getting back home I reviewed my porthole emails about my visit. The Email states nothing about me leaving and nothing about why. And they are charging Medicare and me as though I saw a doctor and was treated. I called administrators office. I was not taken seriously.nI would not recommend this hospital. Very unprofessional to say the least.

Horrible! They almost killed my husband saying he had a pulled back only to find out his organs were shutting down from an aortic dissection. He went to springfield hospital to lay in the icu for 11 days only to find out no one would perform the surgery he needed. Thank GOD for Barnes in St Louis because they saved his life and couldn't believe this hospital. This is one of many incidents.
