I would caution anyone considering this clinic and Dr. Daniel Villanueva. I visited Baptist Urgent Care in Davie, Florida, and unfortunately did not receive the level of care I expected as a senior on Medicare. I was later billed $278.00 for a service that had already been paid for through Baptist Urgent Care. My insurance denied the claim, stating it appeared I went out-of-network to see this doctor. It took me hours on the phone with my insurance company to resolve the issue, which I believe constitutes fraudulent billing practices.

Same story as others. Went to Baptist Urgent care. I have insurance and made the required copayment. Received a letter from collections, month later. Never received the letter from Criticare clinics. When I called Criticare, they said that their system is down and will call me back but never did.

Don't pay any of their bills, is a scam company! They don't reply to the phone nor provide any information. Is Insane!! How we can report them or can we sue them legally?

As you can see from the other reviews, this place states they send bills to you for services due and no one ever receives them, and most of us donu2019t find out until they send the balance to collections and affect our credit report scores for having a bad account. My issue with this is that I went to an urgent care with insurance and paid my copay and these providers are trying to balance bill me, which is a huge red flag. I spoke with a billing rep and they stated they mailed me 4 bills and since I never responded that they sent it to collections, I stated I never received any of these, and they said thatu2019s my fault that I didnu2019t receive it but in reality thereu2019s no proof that it was sent, thereu2019s no tracking numbers or anything they can show to prove this and from what Iu2019m seeing in the reviews everyone is experiencing the same issue so the mailing issue is on their side and I think they rather get their money by selling balances to collections agency instead of actually effectively reaching out to customers to solve the issues.

This facility is incorrectly billing. They say that they mail you the bills but as you can see from other reviews no one receives the bills. They have no proof of sending the invoices and on top of that they balanced billed me for a date of service that was paid by my insurance. They even sent it to collections and affected my credit in the process and I didnu2019t find out until it was on my credit.nnI tried contacting them via phone to clarify and the billing representative was non helpful and extremely disrespectful.
