I have absolutely hated CVS and the fact that they unfortunately are one of the closest pharmacyu2019s where I live that doesnu2019t constantly have delays in getting medication filled. In saying that, what you do have to deal with is the lack of competency their pharmacy staff has. My daughter, who is on a very restrictive prescription where lab test and visits have to be made within certain time frames and time limits to receiving medicationu2018s has now for the third time in less than one year had to redo an entire process, Miss school, myself or my husband miss work to get her to a doctor appointment that she just went 8, 9, days prior Because CVS failed to notify us that the prescription was ready. We called and left voicemails. We did not get phone calls back, when I showed up to the pharmacy and asked if prescription was ready, I was told that it was not and in fact it was filled and misplaced. This has happened Three times in 9 monthsu2026 thatu2019s just one prescription with my child. We will not even get started with mine. You know it is bad when the doctors ALL agree, yet CVS shows any concern to better their process and create a more accurate system or training process to start. Do better!! Peopleu2019s medications are not to be played with and I wish CVS actually showed that was their company stance as well.

Done with CVS after being a customer for years.nI have been in pain management for 5 years and am Opiates to manage are rare form for of arthritis . It seems every 3 months they change their opiate policy causing me to jump thru hoops to get it filled. It is bad enuf they wont let your scrips over lap even one day , you have to be out before they will refill , but they never alert the Dr.s of any changes.nThey have left me hanging without meds up to 3 days .nI don/t know if they know what its like to be in extreme pain , but then to be going thru withdrawals on top of it .nI politely ask the pharmacist if she could resolve the issue by closing time.nThey didn't , so I am done.nI know they don't know who they messed with .nI write a blog for seniors under a nom de plume .nI have 170 thousand followers.nThey will get a ear full.

The pharmacist are worthless. I needed a specific manufacture for the drug Lorazepam. They changed manufacturers and I didnu2019t notice until I got home. I called and was told I couldnu2019t exchange it. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to medication and NEVER in fifteen years have I changed manufacturing. I was told it wasnu2019t possible to have side effects from change. I had to take the medication and became dizzy and nauseous. I had two panic attacks during the night. I called the pharmacist and he said it was impossible, basically calling me a liar. I have never abused the drug. He said I had two red flags against me. One, I lived out of town, why use their pharmacy?nTwo, no side effects could happen. I do not have a CVS where I live and that is where I am required to go for my insurance. The system has always designated I need the same manufacturer until this time. Fifteen years of getting my medication and no problem like this.nThe pharmacist made a mistake and refused to admit it. He finally agreed to take the medication back and give me the correct manufacture. He said he would only do it once because of my red flags. I hope this helps someone who is sensitive to medication changes.

So I have been using CVS pharmacy for about 2.5 years and until last month (January) I have had no complaints with the service. Last month my Cardiologist prescribed a medication for me that he insisted I should take and his nurse advised me she would call in to CVS to find out if a copay for the medication was required.nnCVS always sends me a text when a script is ready for pickup and if a copay (especially a sizable copay is required) then CVS will advise of such. I received a text advising my script was ready however no mention of a copay was included.nnI am about 3 miles from the CVS location and when I arrived going via the drive thru the clerk handed me the bag then advised I owed a copay of $165.50. Many vehicles were behind me and the clerk was rushing me so I paid the copay and drove away very displeased. When I returned home I DID NOT open the bag which is stapled shut so I called that CVS and ask if I could return the medication as I was grossly misinformed about a copay. I was told NO I cannot return it. I ask the cardiologist to intervene on my behalf but I was denied assistance. I also called the drug manufacturer and was told NO also.nnBefore I decided to write this review I called CVS corporate in Rhode Island and was on hold for over 30 minutes while I was subjected to annoying music. CVS could certainly allow me to return an unopened bag containing this medication however I remain ignored and out $165.50 because of gross incompetence on the behalf of the Doctors people and not being advised by CVS there was a hefty copay prior to my driving there to pick up a script I was to believe no co pay was due!

CVS pharmacy in Temecula CalifornianWinchester and Margareta. I've been using this CVS for about 6yrs now. I've been noticing the level of RUDENESS AND BAD BEHAVIOR FROM THE PHARMACY EMPLOYEES. The pharmacist at this store doesn't care to help or answer any questions. I really hope this isn't a company thing. You can't and won't stay in business acting like this. We all have choices. Please fix this problem. Thank you.
