the doctor i got was super sweet!!! so accommodating, answered every question, and didnu2019t make me feel like i was dramatic and assured me i can come in again if my pain got worse. i mustu2019ve been lucky because after reading reviews apparently people have to wait long times, but that wasnu2019t the case for me i was actually seen right away AND the doctor came in in about 5 minutes!

Every time Iu2019ve come here, its been because I absolutely had to.And even with that it often hasnu2019t been worth it. My usual wait time in the lobby is about 30 minutes, usual wait time in the back room? About an hour before I see a doctor.Iu2019ve been handed other peopleu2019s paperwork (including prescription paperwork) and pushed out of the door, received xrays that I never got information back about, had staff be incredibly rude when asking questions about my condition etcu2026Good luck even calling the place at times, I tried calling recently to ask about some testing and wasnu2019t even sent to a voicemail, just hung up on,

Two hour wait (plus additional wait in room) with three people in lobby at 3 pm because there is one practitioner that needs a lunch break. I understand needing a lunch break, but an urgent care shutting down operations for an hour seems crazy. There has got to be a better way to manage urgent care. Urgent cares exist to avoid hospital visits and lower cost of health care. But we will likely have to go to hospital for something that could have been taken care of in 10 minutes at urgent care. Just baffling. If your insurance covers ANYWHERE else you should go. In fact, thatu2019s what the people at the front desk of Davis Urgent Care told us.

I came in for a rapid onset high fever. The PA who saw me administered a flu test (negative) and listened to my lungs. Thatu2019s it - no bloodwork, urine test, or chest x-ray. Said I had some kind of viral infection and to come back in a few days if my symptoms changed or worsened.I went to the UCD SHC the next day since my fever was not getting better. Turns out it was bacterial bronchitis. Two stars just because the staff were nice.

You're better off going elsewhere. Tried to treat my strep throat as soon as I started feeling the telltale signs, as I'm prone to it.Went in for a strep test and was sent away without antibiotics despite my frequent history of strep and the white streaking on my tonsils (which were noted by the doc, but deemed minimal), and because I had no fever at the time (3 hours later, I'm running at 101u00b0)Was told I'd get the culture results back in approximately 3 days, only to never get a call. After many phone calls asking for the results, on day 10 (7 business days later) they admitted that they lost my strep culture due to an admin error. I ended up getting treated elsewhere in the meantime, thankfully. On top of it, I was told in the office that there was no copay for the visit, only to receive an invoice 2 months later. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating experience and I urge anyone considering treatment here to go elsewhere.
