Switched my kids to CMC 2 months ago from Carilion and have been unhappy. Called today to get an appointment and Kayla who I will be reporting to the medical board of medicine refused to give my kids appointments because of her saying I called to get refills when I called to get appointments to get refills AND WHEN I MENTIONED THIS WOULD BE THE LAST TIME THIS OFFICE WOULD SEE MY KIDS HER RESPONSE WAS GOOD CMC IS CLOSING IN DECEMBER ANYWAY IF SHE IS AT ANY MEDICAL FACILITY THAT MY CHILDREN ARE SWITCHED TO THEY WILL BE MADE AWARE OF HER DOING THIS HOPEFULLY THE MEDICAL BOARD OF MEDICINE WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT HER LICENSE WHEN I START PROCESS OF FILING COMPLAINT AGAINST HER TOMORROW BECAUSE REFUSING TO GIVE AN APPOINTMENT FOR CHILDREN MEDICINE IS SERIOUS, AND THE OTHER LADY WILL BE REPORTED AS WELL BECAUSE AFTER SHE ADVISED MY HUSBAND OF APPOINTMENTS FOR TOMORROW SHE PUT US ON HOLD AND KAYLA CAME BACK TO PHONE AND TOOK THOSE APPOINTMENTS BACK.

The first time that I visit this office the service it's outstanding. The staff is amazing and very professional special Dr. Barnes. So sweet, very attentive to listen the parent and the patient inquires. So important because the first visit is when you start a established a good relationship with the health professionals. The nurse that help her is so delicate taking care of the treatment that she recommends. Of course I recommend this pediatric center..Thanks!

Just switched my son there from Physicians to Children in Roanoke because of distance, and long wait times.nnThis place got my son in, for a sick appointment, and a new patient on the same day as I called.nVery nice, cool fish tank.
