As a mom of 3 (2 of whom have special needs) I am beyond grateful and thankful to/for Dayton Childrens. We have seen so many departments and specialties. To name a fewu2026nER- wonderful. Makes sure not only our kids are taken care of but that we were as comfortable as we could be. I was having back pain while my son was admitted and they took the time to create and makeshift heating pad out of a diaper for me. I will never forget that.nImaging- goes above and beyond to ensure patient comfort.nEndocrinology- Al Hammad is so great. Love her. Very thorough and professional. Great with my son.nNeurosurgery dept- everyone has been wonderful.nPhysical Therapy- Josh Fries is one of my favorite people ever. My son has been a patient of his for years. Heu2019s so amazing with kids and very knowledgeable.nOrthopedics- Dr Biemesch is wonderful. She is very professional and thorough.nPharmacy- handled our refills and med transfers so quickly with friendly staff.nNothing but wonderful experiences throughout the years. I am so grateful for Dayton Childrens Hospital.

I brought in my son for a possible broken leg yesterday. And the whole experience was comforting. The wait time was not long, the doctor and staff, were caring, comforting, and empathetic. We were also able to get diagnostics, treatment and discharged fairly quickly considering how busy they seemed.

Terrible. Brought my son in with a dislocated shoulder already had MRIs for confirmed labral tear after he dislocated it during a soccer game and it wouldnu2019t go back in. Nurses didnu2019t seem to care, were very inexperienced, and it took four hours of wait time just to get an x-ray. It took an additional two hours to have nurses come in and failed to put my sonu2018s shoulder back in place not once but twice with the first attempt taking over 30 seconds of straight pulling in straining and it wouldnu2019t go back in. My son was in excruciating pain the whole time, and after a disastrous second attempt. My wife came in and made them stop. They brought an experienced doctor in and had to give my son anesthesia to relocate his shoulder and the overall time for them to put it in and completely finish for us to drive home from Dayton was over six hours. If your son or daughter has an injury. Just drive the extra time to get to a different hospital. The experience was horrible. Only gave them one star because zero was not an option.

Daughter has been in and out for Liver Cancer all the nurses are amazing make the my wife and I more comfortable with the situation were in and make it better for my daughter as well. Cafeteria prices are amazing definitely easier for a family who is hurting financially to eat if they are admitted plus they give the family 12 dollars a day to help with food cost at the Cafeteria as well

My son had to have a muccocele removed off his tongue at Dayton childrenu2019s main campus. I was exceptionally pleased with the caring and compassionate nurses, the amazing anesthesiologist Michael Adams, and the wonderful otolaryngologist doctor Chantal Barbot. Everyone treated my son very well during his outpatient surgical procedure and I canu2019t thank you all enough for all you have done. Kudos to you all, you are all very much appreciated in my book. Everything was explained thoroughly from beginning to end. Iu2019m so glad we chose doctor Chantal Barbot along with Dayton childrenu2019s hospital to have this procedure done! ud83cudfe5
