Positive Experience at Denver Health - Excellent Urgent Care and Noteworthy AspectsnI recently had a very positive experience at Denver Health, particularly with the Urgent Care department. I was impressed by the prompt and efficient care I received. The staff acted quickly and professionally, which was greatly appreciated.nI also wanted to mention a couple of other observations during my visit. While the care was excellent, I did notice that the entrance to the L building could benefit from a wider doorway to better accommodate the high volume of people accessing the facility.nOn a positive note, I found the readily available information on medical coverage in the lobby to be extremely helpful and well-presented. It's clear Denver Health prioritizes ensuring patients have access to this important information.nFinally, I was particularly touched to see a food donation initiative within the Radiology department. It was a sweet and thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about the caring environment at Denver Health.nOverall, despite a minor suggestion regarding the L building entrance, my experience with Denver Health, especially the Urgent Care, was excellent. I normally donu2019t leave reviews, but my experience at 660 Bannock has been so consistently disappointing that I feel obligated to speak up.nnDuring one visit, a doctor literally told me they don't get paid enough to review my imaging. That level of indifference is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting. Another doctor completely downplayed my injuries after a serious car accident u2014 even though I reported shoulder tingling and explained the car hit me at over 55 mph, she wrote in the chart that my shoulder had healed and misrepresented the collision speed.nnAs a young Black man, I canu2019t help but feel that racial and age-related bias played a role in how I was treated. My symptoms were minimized, my voice was ignored, and no one followed up to reschedule my appointments after they were canceled u2014 not even once.nnThis isnu2019t just poor service. Itu2019s negligent care. Iu2019ve since chosen to seek treatment through a private provider where Iu2019m taken seriously.nnI would not recommend this facility to anyone who expects to be listened to or treated with basic human dignity.nnbut i guess the poor and the old use this service and maybe that's why this happens

I wanted so bad for this to be a 5 star review. I looked over some failures and gave them multiple chances. The bottom line is the staff was good. The pharmacy person had no idea what she was doing. She double charged my card and told me to hold on to the receipt in case there was an issue, I could call the number on said receipt. I called for the first week and was told I would need a supervisor (between certain hours cause they weren't there at the time), then it sent my call somewhere else and rang forever. I'm 2 weeks in, haven't gotten my money back and I'm now being told I have to physically come in. It's always changing . Why is Colorado health and Med centers so poorly run. It's a joke with these people. I don't get it. Please don't respond with your basic cookie cutter fake (call us) fake concern. Take some action! DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE JOKE STAFF YOU HIRED!

Yes, Denver Health is a big urban network serving a large public and expectations for service and wait times should be managed appropriately given that context. All things considered, I've had great experience and amazing patient care. Good providers + attentive staff all around who really care about serving their patients + the broader community.

I stayed in the emergency room 5 hours with no food no exam nobody was taking care of my needs. I had to ask for exams because they were delaying. Beautiful hospital but no quality in watching the patients. What a pity!!ud83dude14
