I've been going to this Physicians Immediate Care for almost a decade as my trusted urgent care provider. Recently, my insurance changed and I had to use different urgent care places that were in network, so I did when taking my son (who had fever for 4 days, stuffy nose, and a terrible sore throat).At the new place, after being seen by a nurse, a student nurse, and the actual registered nurse (with no tests performed), they simply said to continue over-the-counter medication because it was some viral infection. The next day there was no change in my son's condition.So I went back to Physicians Immediate Care, paid the high co-payment, but it was worth it. My son was seen within minutes (they have a very good online scheduling and check-in system). The first thing they did was perform a strep test, and 10 minutes later we were walking out with antibiotics sent to the pharmacy.Three days later, I got sick too. I didn't even try to go somewhere else. Yes, the co-pay was high for me, but the right diagnosis and saved time were absolutely worth it.This recent experience confirmed why I've trusted Physicians Immediate Care for nearly a decade. Sometimes you have to pay more for quality care, and in this case, it was absolutely the right decision.

Soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. Told the lady at the front desk she told me how to sign in talk a bit. Lisa RN came in and explained situation was very thorough and nice. Mr. Blazer MD also explained what was going on and had set up a treatment for me. All in all it was awesome. I work in nursing also, and it was nice for them to listen and get feedback. Thank you guys for everything I appreciate it.

My 5 yr old son had a bug lodged in his ear. It had been in there for a few hours before we realized it. By the time I took him in he was in agony. They took us back right away and were so kind throughout the process. Thank you to the staff for your swift action and kindness to help my little boy through the situation. It's been a few days and he is still talking about how nice they were and how they helped him.

Just left the PIC on Riverside in Loves Park. Wow is all I can say! The woman checking us in and the roomer were very pleasant. Doug Blazer(read from his Rx bcs he never introduced himself), on the other hand, was extremely rude all the way around. He gave the worst care I believe I have ever witnessed. In addition, he never washed his hands entering, leaving, and before or after touching the pt. Performed a poor exam by my standards, and walked away as we were asking questions. As someone who worked Convenient Care Clinic 2 days per week in the past, I know things can get busy and stressful. Had that been the case, I could have understood the way we were treated tonight a little more maybe. However, there was one family leaving as we arrived. My son was the only patient thereafter.

Physician Immediate Care on East Riverside St in Loves Park, IL service is the best. Doug Blazer is awesome. The care and attention at this location is 5 stars. I've been here several times and my issues have always been diagnosed properly. Excellent...William Clement
