Lifepoint merged with Ascension St. Thomas in Dec 2023. St. Thomas has been caught doing 'for profit' business when they are listed as a 'non-profit'. Pretty stupid and immoral right ? This merger is a toxic relationship between two unethical medical businesses. St Thomas is riddled with substandard doctor that is mentally challenged and exhibits either bi-polar or schiophrenia (or both) during an office visit ? When this behavior was immediately reported to the site manager Becky Marklein following the visit I offered the three of us to have a discussion about it. She refused. I was assured they would look into it and contact me. I was not contacted and needed to call in to report this to another manager Brenda Houskins. Again, upper management not only avoids addressing these atrocities, they ban you from their practice !? They don't realize their actions condone this maladjusted behavior. Can't make this stuff up... AVOID them completely !

I got a strep test at the ER and they charged me $1500. Strep tests should NEVER cost that much. Dont go here unless you want to get scammed. For profit health care is demonic and is bad for everyone exept the CEO.

Not sure where the other reviewers are from or if they are employed by LifePoint. But if a hospital is owned by LifePoint. I avoid it. I have changed Drs, specialists, and a surgeon that moved to LifePoint. I take my personal healthcare very seriously. I don't feel that LifePoint does.

Currently serving in Sierra Vista. I took my wife to Canyon Vista Medical Center for her ultrasound, the staff told me that I couldnu2019t attend the visit for the safety of my wife. My wife and I both were lost so when we asked whyu2026 they said due to COVID. WOULDNu2019T IT BE SAFER FOR MY WIFE TO AVOID EXPOSURE FROM THE STAFF.nnSpoke with the staff. The staff said that they donu2019t agree with the policy. The policy was put in place by Lifepoint who owns Canyon Vista Medical Center. Weu2019ll take our business elsewhere.
