Do not trust them, do not have faith in them, do not go. They will hide behind smiles and political correctness. Just be warned there is no sincerity behind a single word or person at this establishment. I moved here and had to go in to get my home of record changed. I was already seeing other doctors. I was forced to do this because my last VA refused to tell my employers I was taking a medication they prescribed. Which then forced said employer to request all my medical records. Which then they would ask me about things that had no relevance and I would get denied employment. SonI was forced to change careers. so brought me to Columbia. They PROMISED they would manage my medication. I wouldnu2019t have a problem getting it. Lo and behold 6 months later they stop filling it and refuse. Mind you this medication is vital to my mental and emotional health. Itu2019s not any schedule drug. But nope, they refused to refill and told me all of a sudden I had to stop taking it for a few months. When you call youu2019ll spend 3 minutes listening to a recording to finally get options all just to wait for hours to not get an answer. You message the inbox and they will call you during work hours. You miss the call, they tell you to call the general number and the cycle continues. Iu2019ve yet to get a call back about dental, occupational therapy, neurology , fertility etc. All appointments I showed up for, got scene months later, and told they will send to community care. They never do it. Again itu2019s all a facade. Look at all the reviews below. They truly are trying to kill veterans by acting like they care. This way they can increase their budget and paychecks meanwhile doing no work what so ever to help veterans. Iu2019ve begged and pleaded on the message app for help and have gotten the response u201cWe called you and you didnu2019t pick upu201d. At one point I was told if I report my issues it could u201cimpact my benefitsu201d. That was the answer to me pleading for help. Instead of giving a number or contact or scheduling an appointmentu2026.No, we care only when itu2019s convenient for us AKA they are threatening budgets or cuts. Avoid this agency at all cost.nnWho do we call to get this place shut down? I think any veteran would get better care in a 3rd world country than this place.

My experience with this VA has been very positive each time Iu2019ve visited. Most of their processes seem efficient and move smoothly. There are always people there to greet you in a friendly way and help you if you donu2019t know where youu2019re going and the healthcare workers Iu2019ve come in contact with have been very compassionate. Most of the staff are veterans themselves and itu2019s always good to visit with fellow veterans in the waiting room, young and old.

Doctor was rude, condescending, degrading to my being an RN, refused to take time to discuss rx that he prescribed, left office twice for no reason, rudely objected to my taking notes of this visit, and would not answer any questions. And why is he an OB-GYN assigned to treat male veterans???

I visited the Dorn VA Dental clinic today on sick call and was seen by Dr. Laney. My wait time was minimal and procedures and staff were professional. Dr. Laney performed in an exemplary manner. His care, professional recommendations and attention to detail were above reproach. In my opinion he should be commended for his exceptional service to the veteran! Thank You!

Worse experience I've ever had at this place, went to the ER with abdominal pain and waited 8 hrs to be seen. Then when I finally got to the back the nurse blew out my vein 2 times trying to put in an IV. Then after 1 and half hours was seen by the DR only to be told I would have to be there another 4 to 6 hrs for a CT scan. I checked myself out and will send a secure message to my primary cre Dr. I've been going here for over 20 years and it was the worst experience ever.
