I had a sharp pebble stuck in the bottom of my foot last year and Mary was very kind and gentle attempting to take it out. A week later, I got a blood blister there. I went back to her and she stuck a band aid on it and told me not to worry. No charge. The third time I went to her, the blood blister was still there, and once again she put a band aid on it and sent me on my way after looking at it for like 10 seconds - *this time with a copay*. She told me to see a podiatrist if it continued for a few more days with a referral. I had vacation a day after, and it was hard to walk anywhere! When I got back, I went to a podiatrist and part of the pebble was still in my foot, which the podiatrist had to spend at least an hour digging out. Then I had to do a follow-up appointment with the podiatrist to make sure it healed properly.nnI give 3 stars because Mary handled my cold and flu symptoms very professionally in the past, but not so much with my foot. I feel like maybe the stone was an isolated incident she didn't have much experience with.nnThe rest of the staff is always really friendly.

It is so nice having an Urgent Care facility on Grosse Ile. Mary, the nurse practitioner was wonderful as was the assistant and the receptionist I have been to this facility a few times over the years and have always been very pleased with the care.

My family and I have been using Grosse Ile Urgent Care for over five years, and I can confidently say that my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Mary, the Nurse Practitioner, is truly one of the most down-to-earth medical professionals I've ever encountered. She treats her patients like family, making you feel valued and cared for. Her extensive knowledge and professionalism are remarkable, and it's evident that she gives 110% during every visit.nnI rarely experience long wait times; I always call ahead, and even when there is a delay, I understand that itu2019s part of the healthcare process. After having waited 18 hours in a hallway at Oakwood Hospital Dearborn during a heart attack, I appreciate that urgent care can be more efficient.nnThe entire staff at Grosse Ile Urgent Care is friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming environment. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of urgent care!

I have gone to this urgent care numerous times with how convenient it is living on the island. I donu2019t think I have ever had a good experience there. This most recent time I went in there I could hear them talking bad about me the entire time they were standing out there because I declined one kind of testing. Another situation was I got a medication there that made me 10x more sick and when I went to the ER a couple days later the doctor said that he had never heard of that medication and to stop taking it immediately. I will not be going back there and will be telling my friends and family the same thing. 0/10 do not recommend going here.

I went there for the first time, after being seriously ill for a week and unable to get an appointment with my primary Dr. I have to say that going to see Mary today was the best experience I have received in a medical situation since I was a sick child cared for by my mother. Personal care at the utmost best! I left feeling complety confident in the treatment plan she put together. She is an amazing and kind person. Everyone from the girl at the desk to the tech that took my vitals were excepcional, Thank you
