This winter my child and I have been sick several times and AFC Urgent Care- North Worcester has made our lives so much easier. The mobile check in is very convenient in order to cut wait time and having to fill out paperwork by hand. The staff is exceptionally professional and kind, they're very helpful and friendly. The physicians really seem like they care and treat their patient's wonderfully, they've always went above and beyond to treat us and they even call back a day or two later to check in. I appreciate having this clinic in my neighborhood, it's not always easy to see a PC doctor, sometimes they don't have same day appointments or have you wait all day and going to the ER is sometimes a hassle but it's not like that with AFC, they do everything they can to make things convenient and treat their patients right and give them good care. Highly recommended!

I had a terrible experience here recently. I've been here before with no problems until this last visit. I checked in and immediately a woman who came in after me was seen without registering, it seemed she knew the staff and they moved her first in line. I was called in and told it would be a 30 minute wait. After 1 hour in the room I asked staff how much longer and they said I would be next. Then a woman in the next room who got there much later than I did complained that she had an appointment and needed to get home so they saw her before me. We all know that there aren't any appointments, as the staff is so quick to explain each time. It's just a waiting list. I went out to ask again after waiting another 30-40 minutes and the staff grabbed my arm and walked me back to my room and asked me to keep waiting. They said there was no way to tell how long the wait would be now. After now waiting 2 hours in the patient room I got up and left. My husband tried to talk to the front desk staff about the awful treatment and care and they yelled at us. One woman told us that's how it is honey. If you don't like it go to the ER and see how long you wait there. She was extremely rude and condescending and I could tell she didn't care. We won't be going back here. Some of these staff need better training to not speak to sick patients this way. There was no need for them to yell at us the way they did, and leave a patient in the room for 2 hours promising they would be next. Management needs to do something about their check in system.

I arrived at 8am as a walk in. The building was not yet open (despite opening at 8) and eventually a staff member said they did not open until 8:15. After eventually being let inside, I had to wait 45 minutes before being brought in to an exam room by a medical assistant. Then, after being in the exam room for about 10 minutes, I was informed that the provider was not coming in that day despite originally stating they would be 15 minutes late. I then had to drive over 10 miles to a sister location and start over after already waiting an hour and paying my co-pay. The medical assistant was kind and it was not her fault whatsoever, but shame on the provider for calling out 45 minutes into the original start time.

Thank you for giving my son an excellent experience today! He is an out of state student, and this was the first time he has gone to the doctor without one of his parents. This facility made him feel comfortable and gave him excellent care. Thank you from a mama in NJ!!

The staff at this location is excellent. Everyone is friendly, approachable, and professional, and Iu2019ve never encountered any issues. Iu2019ve visited this location three times since November. My first visit in November went smoothly, and while my January visit involved over an houru2019s wait, I didnu2019t mind since it seemed like an isolated incident. However, todayu2019s experience has been frustrating. I returned due to an infection caused by the antibiotics I was previously prescribed. My scheduled time was 12:10 PM, and at 12:20 PM, I asked the receptionist if I should leave and return later since the waitlist estimated I would be seen at 1:00 PM. She assured me the waitlist was inaccurate, so I stayed. It is now 1:06 PM, and after asking again, I was told I would need to wait another hour. This is unacceptable. Why allow patients to book a spot in line online if the actual wait time is consistently two hours or more? The receptionist explained there is only one provider available, which highlights the need for additional staffing to manage patient volume effectively. The current wait times for an urgent care facility are unreasonable. I strongly urge management to address this issue promptly or the reputation of this location will be the same as the other in Worcester, a waist of time.
