Scheduling was easy, and the check-in process was very straightforward. The nurse who called me back and took my vitals was extremely politeu2014I really liked her. However, the nurse practitioner was not as friendly. She seemed somewhat dismissive of my concerns about what appeared to be a rash forming on my right arm, which I had been scratching. She quickly dismissed it as just a bug bite.nnI was in the middle of an anxiety attack, which I made both nurses aware of. Because of thatu2014and the fact that I'm autistic (though I didn't mention it at the time because it felt irrelevant)u2014I wasnu2019t able to clearly communicate everything I was experiencing. The nurse practitioner barely looked at my arm, and I left feeling unheard and frustrated.nnI would only recommend visiting this provider for minor issues. If itu2019s an emergency, go to the ER. If it can wait, book an appointment with your primary doctor instead.

Thank you to the entire staff at AFC Urgent Care! Initially, we were rudely turned away from the Erlanger Walk-in Clinic, so we were not in a great mood upon arriving at AFC... but the AFC front desk staff met us with kindness and easy registration procedures. We were then surprised at how quickly we were called back to be taken care of by Luke, the NP, and Dr. Tamara Hughes. My mother and I thank you all for your much appreciated smiles, thorough examination, and top quality medical care.

First time at this care center. Can't say enough good things about it and the staff. They were very courteous, efficient, and professional. The doctor was very knowledgeable and personable. So glad my husband and I chose this facility for his medical situation. Since my husband usually cannot get walk-in appointments with his primary care this is a perfect facility for his intermediate medical care needs. Highly recommend!!

They were busy at the front desk but still helped me with my insurance questions. Got me back in only a few minutes after I finished my paperwork, nurse and Dr were fast as well. In and out in 45 minutes and the parking lot was pretty full
