I was initially seen by Dr. Prabhu. Then, I was seen by Nurse Practitioner Megan Harris. After being on the prescribed medication for a little over three months, I started experiencing troubling side effects. I brought these concerns to her attention, but they were completely dismissed. Not only that, but I was supposed to do bloodwork every two weeks, and after about two months, it was deemed unnecessary. This led to a severe, medication-induced case of Gastritis. I lost 15 pounds because I couldnu2019t eat properly for months and was in constant abdominal pain. The condition took over a year to heal, requiring an endoscopy with biopsy, and now possibly a colonoscopy. I was unable to work during this time due to the pain. This has been an incredibly frustrating and damaging experience.I genuinely question the competency of the medical staff here, and would not recommend this practice.

**DO NOT ACCEPT ABRAHAM TACANG AS YOUR RHEUMATOLOGIST** I would like to make you aware of the negligence of your physician Abraham Tacang. His negligence cost me 9 years of progression of an autoimmune disease. I was recently seen by another rheumatologist who ran the correct bloodwork (that he should have) and determined that I do in fact have a verifiable diagnosis of MCTD, based on positive antibodies consistent with dx of a rheumatic condition. This coincides with my positive ANA and clinical symptoms that I brought to his attention, and dismissed, although I was in tears telling him something was wrong with me to which he refused to listen. Even with a positive ANA biomarker, and clinical symptoms, he dismissed me and told me it was fibromyalgia. Even a novice rheumatologist should know that fibromyalgia does not show up in bloodwork. I explained to him that in conjunction with physical symptoms, positive ANA warrants further testing. He refused to run any other labs, allowing my disease to progress multiple years, with additional symptoms arising. This progressive damage could have been prevented had he done his job and ran proper baseline labs. I am now in a state of constant pain, finally was referred to a competent rheumatologist who could actually understand that +ANA in conjunction with multiple clinical symptoms is NOT A just a coincidence. His negligence could have cost me my life, or organ damage at the least. He has no business even being a rheumatologist, caring for sick patients with diseases that have the potential to be fatal. He is neglectful to his patients and does them a disservice by seeing them. He is simply in this profession to collect a check, and too lazy to investigate the diseases that he is supposed to be licensed to diagnose and treat. It is my hope that he will be coached and taught to listen to his patients concerns instead of dismissing them and trying to get them out of the room as quickly as possible. He simply told me because I tested negative for the lupus panel that there was nothing else he wanted to do. A rheumatologist in his field should KNOW that there are hundreds of other autoimmune diseases aside from lupus that a patient may present with, causing +ANA and symptoms. This is not to say that they don't have fibromyalgia, as it often accompanies autoimmune diseases, but fibromyalgia alone does not cause positive ANA. It should not be used blanketly by a physician who doesn't feel like doing the investigative work to get to the bottom of a rheumatic condition. He is completely unprofessional and unqualified for his position. I hope that he takes this poor level-of-care as a provider and uses it in the future to actually listen to his patients and be a better physician. It is such a shame that people like him are even in this line of medicine, given all of the possibly life-threatening conditions he deals with. His negligence is going to kill one of his patients if he doesn't start actually doing his job instead of being lazy and dismissing people because he doesn't want to do the research that is required to be an adequate rheumatologist. I find it very unfortunate that he's with your practice, but I hope that this information will be relayed to him and that he realizes if he does not change his way of thinking he's going to lead to organ-damage and death of some of his patients. This man needs to switch fields to something less serious where he is not gambling with people's lives, because he clearly does not make a good rheumatologist or like to do the investigative work required to be one. It only takes a moment to order the baseline labs to test for common rheumatic diseases, such as MCTD (RA, Schleroderma, Sjrojens, etc.), which would have caught my disease, and allowed for treatment 9 years earlier had he not been a lazy physician.

Dr. Tacang is one of the kindest provider I have ever meet. He is compassionate, knowledgable and thorough. I would highly recommend him to those looking for a rheumatologist.

Called to set up an appointment for some issues while in the area. The scheduling was easy and I found the staff to be very helpful via the phone. I think Sai is the person I spoke to, and found the process to be very easy, even though I was juggling a bunch of things at the moment, so I appreciate the patience. The appointment went smoothly as well, and I feel like I'm getting the support needed.

I was there yesterday with my fiance since it was the appointment we've been trying to get for over a year just to finally get her health on the right track. She mentioned she posted a review and I just wanted to see what she posted to kind of chime in and come from a neutral perspective. Dr Anoop was very knowledgeable and confident but had a very interesting method of doing his consultation that came off condescending and arrogant:-Asked her about her previous diagnosis and symptoms (never let her finish and interrupted saying she was wrong)-Jumped to conclusion within minutes that every doctor prior and neurologist assessments were wrong (this is why she was referred to a rheumatologist to properly diagnose)-As Dr Anoop was saying she most likely had *****, disease but not what you think you have... I looked up that condition and it is also something treated by a rheumatologist which left me even more confused.Synopsis? We left confused and felt even worse that after years of not knowing what's wrong and looking forward to finally getting the answers we were seeking, that nobody wants to help us get her the treatment she needs. He seemed irritated almost like we googled symptoms and jumped to conclusions and wasted his time which is THE MOST frustrating part because it was medical professionals telling her this (lupus) is what she has but he made us feel stupid for taking the treatments the ER doctors and other specialists have been prescribing. As of now, we did get the labwork and XRay requests from the Dr (which we appreciate more than I can describe in words) but after talking to her primary post visit, not sure we will be yielding them back to this location because Dr Anoop made us feel worse than before going in. We are hoping that his initial assessment (pinching her arm as only test) of not having lupus is accurate, but I feel skeptical at best. I think Dr Anoop is very confident and intelligent, but lacks empathy to say the least of how much we have struggled to get answers and something we were both looking forward to for almost a year turned into a nightmare of a visit. Hope this adds clarity to the situation and for anyone looking find answers like we are still seeking.**EDIT since their only response to our awful experience has been to try to drown out with pretty obvious fake reviews, I will post a screenshot of new FTC ruling on fake reviews. Should tell you more about how this company handles criticism**
