The receptionist working on Thursday March 20 around 10 am had zero empathy. The doc in that day refused to see patient. Was having shoulder pains and they urged to go to hospital instead of evaluating patient and then sending to hospital. What is an urgent care for if not evaluating patient.

Excellent! The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Tamsin displayed empathy and was able to identify my issue and offered solutions to resolve it. I highly recommend this urgent care clinic u2764ufe0f

Urgent care and more San Diego was an amazingly caring, kind, and expeditious urgent care. My partner came in for stitches and was promptly treated. Dr. Tamsen was thorough and gentle with his care. Explained everything and took time to get to know him and his wound. Would go back !!

If you can go anywhere else for care, do. Avoid this urgent care at all cost. Extremely rude receptionists and poor training when it comes to insurance handling.nnWas sent to this facility from sharp reece as my group had changed, no problem. Was greeted with a snarl and awful attitude by the older receptionist with brown short hair. Explained why I am here, and was told immediately u201cwell your card says this so we canu2019t see you hereu201d.nConfused I asked if it was possible to call the hospital I was just at to see where the disconnect was.nnShe rolled her eyes, huffed and said u201cand what do you want me to talk aboutu201dnnTurns out, the other gal just didnu2019t read the insurance card correctly and that they did take my insurance.nnDecided to go elsewhere. If that is the type of treatment the front desk gives, I donu2019t want to find what itu2019s like from the doctors.nnDo better. People go to your facility because they are seeking help.

While the girls at the front desk were warm and friendly, my encounter with the male doctor this morning was very uncomfortable and upsetting.nnI came in after two days of fever, chills, and severe body pain, hoping for clarity/relief. After explaining my symptoms, the doctor told me I had the flu. When I responded with, u201cOh, you really think so?u201d he replied very matter-of-factly that I did, seeming annoyed that I questioned him. I asked if he could flu test me just to be sure, but he insisted multiple times there was no need for a test. His dismissive tone made me feel like I had to argue with him just to get the care I was seeking.nnAfter reluctantly agreeing to check for a test, he finally sent a nurse to do a flu and COVID test. When he returned with the results, which were negative, he seemed even more irritated. He told me I had a virus, that the treatment would be the same as for the flu, and that I just needed to go home and rest. I asked if there was anything else that could be done to help with my pain, explaining that I was struggling to rest and had come here out of desperation. His demeanor became angrier, and I felt dismissed and unheard.nnWhen I started to tear up from frustration he begrudgingly said theyu2019d give me something for the pain. A nurse brought in a shot, but by then I no longer trusted the doctor and told her I didnu2019t want it. The doctor then slammed the curtains open and stared at us angrily for several seconds before looking at me and saying u201cYou donu2019t want the shot? Why donu2019t you want the shot?u201d His aggressive attitude made me very uncomfortable, and I just asked to be discharged.
