Iu2019ve generally had positive experiences with North Shore Physicians Group, as their staff is usually friendly and professional. However, the experience at the 250 Paradise Rd, Swampscott, MA location was disappointing.nnLife happensu2014sometimes people run late due to unforeseen circumstances. While I understand that being on time is important, I was met with an unprofessional and unnecessary comment from a nurse stating, u201cIt is not okay to be late.u201d There is a way to communicate policies with professionalism and respect, and this was not it.nnPatients come to healthcare facilities expecting care and understanding, not condescension. A little empathy and professionalism go a long way, and this location should take note.

Years ago my pcp here was Wendy Boumier (sp?) canu2019t remember the spelling but she was wonderful. Despite my complicated past she never judged me, at least never made me feel judged. Itu2019s hard for to trust or open up to doctors until I met her. Unfortunately she left for another practice down the cape. I was so bummed she was leaving but trusted I would be in good hands with another doctor. I donu2019t have the same connection with my new PCP, sheu2019s been nice, but I often see nurse practitioners or other doctors who are covering because of her schedule. Since Wendy left I donu2019t know what it is with this place, the quality of care has gone down. I avoid it unless Iu2019m really sick or just in for an annual physical. Anytime, I go in with a concern Iu2019m met with a dismissive attitude. I leave with no real answers, no solutions, or follow up. My symptoms are not taken seriously even though Iu2019ve had some real health issues in the past. The past couple years Iu2019ve gone to my neighborhood urgent care office more often and get much better treatment when Iu2019m not feeling well. They actually perform tests, imagine that, someone taking you seriously. This practice really needs to put patients first, take them seriously. Iu2019m in the process of looking for a new office, itu2019s too bad because it is a nice office and they had potential. I actually trusted this office at one time. Iu2019m not going to take the chance that they are missing something because they are judging me from my past. I have never been doctor shopping or a prescription seeker, but Iu2019m treated like one.

After 10 years of being my primary Dr Ceplikas has proven she contradicts herself anytime she doesn't have a good answer. She stutters when she doesn't know what to say to you and is just trying to be nice.. very dismissive. After two cancer diagnosis spine surgery due to her suggestion. She refuses to treat me and has labeled me a problem because I still have chronic issues. She told me I basically just need a new back and I've been dealing with it this long and go talk to somebody else. And then made negative comments about drug seeking.nAfter being caught contradicting herself she tried to scare me out of the practice. She has intimidated and made me afraid to seek any medical attention from any physician in the foreseen future. She dictates notes with major discrepancies on things her patient has said. Doesn't take the time to read the chart to even know I had breast cancer and don't need mammograms. And itself should have been its first sign. Then she will be too afraid to tell you the truth to your face and scare you away. They have caused irreversible trauma to my mental health by dismissing me for years after spine surgery. I would not recommend her to anybody. I would recommend you find a whole another practicenIf you want to stick up for yourself don't choose her as a primary. She will tell you you need therapy and not treat the problem and just try to send you to somebody else repeatedly

My elderly family member goes here took three appointments for the same issue before they finally decided to do an xray. Weeks with zero pain relief for a person in their 90s, and it took 3 appointments to realize that he needs an xray? Are you serious? Where did these doctors go to school? Then he gets a script for a cream, yes that will help an elderly patient in his 90s with extreme pain a topical cream. They canu2019t give him some kind of shot to hold him over the two weeks for his 4th appointment since they canu2019t figure out simple problems with elderly patients? Now while waiting 20 minutes past the appointment time, as most of us were, another patient came in 13 minutes late. The desk girl was glad to point out the 13 minutes he was late while they were late taking most of us by a minimum of 15-20 minutes one person was complaining of waiting 20 minutes past their appointment time as well. The late man was told he had to reschedule. They are constantly late but wonu2019t take someone who was running 13 minutes late because they had the wrong time? Worst customer service and doctors ever. It was terrible in the 90s when I went there and it hasnu2019t changed at all. One star because they donu2019t allow zero or negative stars which they deserve.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Catherine Reyes for my primary care needs and was thoroughly impressed by the level of care I received. From the moment I walked into her office, Dr. Reyes was the epitome of kindness and professionalism. She took the time to listen to all of my concerns with genuine interest, making me feel truly heard and valued as a patient. Her compassionate approach and dedication to understanding how I was feeling stood out to me. It's clear that Dr. Reyes cares deeply about her patients' well-being, and I felt extremely comfortable under her care. I highly recommend Dr. Reyes to anyone looking for a primary care physician who truly listens and cares.
