Had to take my 16 yr old son to this urgent care last Friday evening for an extremely high fever. He was seen within a few minutes of us registering (he's never been there before) and the staff were caring and professional. The treating doctor showed sympathy and seemed genuinely concerned about us and answered all our questions. Love this place and love the fact that it's just minutes from our home.

The staff at Surprise Family Urgent Care were quite lovely, so I would rate them a lot higher. The doctor I saw, who barely saw me, is who I am actually rating - Dr. Vu. I went to Urgent Care because I had a medical issue, and I was treated as if I was an inconvenience. Antibiotics were prescribed to, more or less, make the annoyance disappear. I left there feeling not terribly confident that he knew what was wrong. I'm actually not even sure he knew I was there. He never made eye contact with me and rushed to get out the door, even as I asked questions. All in all, he soured me on the experience so that I will not return here, which is unfortunate. Everyone else was really quite lovely.

Last night I went to Surprise Family Urgent Care's website, reviewed the services offered, and printed and completed the forms. I got up this morning and arrived at approximately 8:45 a.m., knowing that they were going to open at 9 a.m. I figured that I would beat the rush. To my surprise, there was a sign posted on the door that during the summer, they were closed on Sundays. It would have been nice if that was indicated on the website. I ended up going to FastMed a little further down on Bell Road and had a very nice experience. I know where I will go from now on when I need urgent care.

I went in to get my daughter's medical record from her last doctor visit; because the Social Security office had requested it. All they had to do was provide the record, stamp & sign it, and they refused to sign it. I told them the the SS office would not accept it without the signature & the front office clerk said sorry (so insincere). I said, Are you serious the doctor won't sign it? , And she said, no. This is the last time I visit this place.

If I could give no stars I would. They turned my sick daughter away because they couldn't maintain their own records and see that I had paid for our last visit. When I got home to my records to prove that I had paid I called them back and got a half ass excuse about moving buildings since my last visit (not true) and having to look elsewhere for my records. They told me that we had left by the time they figured it out. No sorry no sympathy.I would recommend going anywhere else to include the store to buy your own medication because your better of with self care than this place.
