I read all the reviews for this urgent care and everyone had nice things to say about the staff. I had the opposite experience. First of all, they want to charge you two different times if you are self pay. Right up front for the office visit even though you might be getting a shot after you see the doctor. I found that other urgent cares wait and tell you after your visit itu2019s going to be this price with everything you got today. The nurse was not friendly at all. She was almost annoyed with having to do her job. I got two shots but instead of getting two separate ones they have me one with both medicines. Iu2019ve never had that before. Iu2019ve always been given two separate shots when Iu2019ve had to get two. The doctor was very nice though. He seemed concerned with what was wrong with me and even asked if I wanted to get both shots since I am self paying patient. I only came here because Mid County Urgent care has misdiagnosed me more than once. And I really wanted to come to a place where they listen to their patients. The doctor was great and so was the front desk girl checking me out. But the nurse really needs to remember sheu2019s working with the public and should be kinder to people who are sick.

Was seen by Dr Jeff Gonzales. Got an x ray done. He explained everything thoroughly and was patient with me. He was great. Even with it being close to closing time for them! Entire staff was nice. Def recommend. Thank you!

My first time at First Response Urgent Care and the physician was excellent. He is from the local area and took excellent care of me. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will be back.

Didn't get her name, but the triage nurse today around 1pm had SUCH an attitude. I brought my husband there because he wasn't feeling well and was starting the symptoms of possibly strep or flu. We were in the waiting room when she came out not even looking at anyone and asked, Well, ready?. Neither of us had any idea who she was talking to when she repeated herself- never once even addressing my husband by his name. Then during triage, she was slapping down the papers, was short with instructions, and overall was just nasty. Being led into the back room, I don't know, she acted like we were personally offending her for being there. Luckily, we didn't have to deal with her after that and the rest of the staff made up for it. Upon checking out, I heard her be nasty to the next patient so I told my husband at least we knew it wasn't just us.Look, I get it. We all have bad days, but go find something else to do if you don't want to deal with people. It was our first time here and probably our last. There's plenty of other urgent cares with more pleasant nurses. I don't need to be made to feel like my simple existence is a problem for someone.

Great staff, friendly and competent care by the support and medical staff. Dr. Nguyen is friendly and highly competent. Short wait times and reasonable costs. I have been going there for several years. I would highly recommend First Response Urgent care.
