I had a great experience at Flagler Hospital when delivering our baby. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, and the hospital staff was incredibly supportive. The nurses were especially amazingu2014they were professional, caring, and always available to help, making me feel comfortable and well-cared for. Even though we didn't have any complications and didnu2019t need to interact with my doctor much, the care we received from the nursing team was outstanding.nnThe hospital was clean, with modern facilities, and everything seemed well organized. The labor and delivery rooms were spacious and designed to make the process as easy as possible. My partner and I felt supported at every step, and the hospital staff communicated clearly, which made the experience even better.nnThe only downside was the cost. While the care was excellent, Flagler Hospital is definitely on the pricier side. If you donu2019t have good insurance, be prepared for a hefty bill. Despite this, the quality of care made it worth it. If you're delivering here, I would recommend making sure your insurance is in good standing, as it can get expensive quickly. Overall, a positive experience and a hospital I would recommend for childbirth!

I have stayed at Flagler hospital so many times and they have saved me so many times. I have watched Flagler become UF Health Flagler and it has become an even better hospital than before. The new Epic My Chart system is amazing because now all of our doctors can access our chart when needed.nThe staff is so amazing. I love them all so much. From PCTs and Food and Nutrition to Doctors and Nurses and cleaning staff, they are all so sweet and kind. I have made so many wonderful friends. I am chronically ill and I stay here probably every couple of months so I feel like I am the person to review this hospital honestly. I want to say Thank you to UF Flagler for saving me this week and for all the other times you have saved me. I am so grateful to have you.

ZERO STARS. Absolutely the most dreadful experience at any medical facility in my 71 years! Out of town and had recent ER visit to UF Flagler Hospital and subsequent admission for irregular heart beat with possible a-fib, very high heart rate and high blood pressure with fainting, dizziness, and chest pain. This resulted in being confined to an alarmed bed, put on a monitor, and being mostly ignored after being admitted. A few tests were done with mixed and borderline results. They did discover a UTI which was never addressed or treated even after admission. I have known cardiovascular disease, HBP, history of a-fib and TIA for which I take daily meds. The intake and ER staff for the most part, were compassionate and efficient, although experienced an extremely long wait for a room to be admitted to ICCU. I was reluctant to be admitted, but finally agreed thinking they could help. No doctor came to see me once admitted until around 2 the following day. Cardiologist basically discounted everything I related or asked about because nothing u201cdefinitiveu201d was showing up on the tests. His position was u201cmaybe you were just dehydrated or stood up too quicklyu201d. I was not given my regular medication, not even given IV fluids for possible dehydration, nor treatment of any kind. This hospital is definitely not patient centric and relies much too heavily on testing while ignoring the distress and history of the patient. After 2 days of this nonsense, and feeling increasingly worse, I asked again to be discharged, waited another 4 hours, gave up any hope for help, and decided to sign myself out AMA to follow up with my own cardiologist. Just absolutely appalled at their ineptitude and lack of action.

My mom broke her hip on 13 April. She was brought to Flagler ER. I arrived at the ER 15 minutes after my mom to come into the room to my mom screaming in pain. They had given her morphine, which did not help the pain at all and was treated like a druggie. Nobody would help my mom. They listened to her scream and one nurse even had the audacity to tell my mom just scream scream all you want weu2019re not giving you any more medicine. When I asked the nurse how they were going to control the pain they said they had to wait 45 minutes to administer more pain medication and I said absolutely not get the doctor, get the nurse, get the hospital advocate in here. I want help. They finally gave my mom medication to help her pain Which in my eyes was absolutely too late. Doctors are supposed to have compassion for people not treat everybody like a drug addict. I heard horror stories about Flagler Hospital when I moved here and now that Iu2019ve dealt with it, I can see why people say this is the worst hospital in St. Johnu2019s County. Donu2019t ever go here if your loved one is hurt. Go to Baptist, go anywhere besides Flagler hospital!

Shout out to Emi ud83cuddefud83cuddf5, Ashley, Heather, Diana, and Dr. Benitez! Dad went in for a cardiac procedure this morning, and everyone was so helpful, kind, and informative. we did not feel rushed. It was a very caring atmosphere.Process and procedure went smoothly. Communication was great. It all began with Ruby at the front desk, who was kind and learned both my names referring to me by my preference and I wasnu2019t even the patient. The young lady that showed me the cafeteria location was super helpful and friendly even escorting me a part of the way. Iu2019m a huge fan of this hospital and the outpatient section. My parents have been coming here for years. Thank you thank you thank you to all those who work so tirelessly and diligently here at Flagler.
