I can't say enough about the standards of medical excellence that Dr. Ofikwu applies everyday with his patients. My medical condition was taking control of my life until I saw Dr. Ofikwu for a medical specialty consult. After my surgery of the removal of an abscess in the colon, I feel like a brand new person.nnUnder his care, I always felt valued as a patient. He never rushed through information or procedures concerning my condition. He took the time to answer questions from my boyfriend. I have not seen such compassion as I was shown by Dr. Ofikwu and his staff in such a long time. The front and back office staff are kind and professional. Dr. O was thorough, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I am so happy to have met this Dr. after I have been to 3 other specialists for my issue and to finally meet one that can help me.

Dr. Ofikwu saved my life. He goes out of his way to care for his patients. He even followed up at home to see how my recovery was after surgery and procedures.nHe organized my extensive surgery with 3 other surgeons to correct all my abscess tangled organs. He reattached my colon after removing 20% during this long surgery, without a bag. Just amazing.nnHe is a very concerned doctor who follows up in your hospital bed and in ER.nnI am so thankful and healthy now. I have no more diverticulitus, along with all those ER visits.
