The Dr is great! The staff however needs work and alot of work at that tell you one thing on the phone then something different next time even going as far as to continuously talk over so I can't finish a sentence then called me back the next day harassing me and then finally 2 hours after the harassing phone call they fix the original problem they refused to fix in the first place it's all a bunch of crap for nothing total stress not worth the good Dr they have having to put up with thenunprofessional staff

Have been with this group for yrs. Once my physician was relocated with the group on truxtun the receptionists service is rude on phone. My rx are not faxed leaving me to call office & getting attitudes from receptionist. Referrals to other specialist were not sent 3 times leavingme to find my own specialist. Seven mos later I get a call that referral has been received. Reason I stay is because doctors are wonderful. Very professional and listen.

I have been going to Dr Patrick O'connell since I was a kid and my kids see him as well if I was reviewing him BEFORE Sillect Medical took over he would get 5 stars because he is amazing...but now it's terrible! Had an appointment at noon but wasn't seen till after 1! My kids were going in just to be weighed (meds require it) that's literally all they needed...the office knows we are cash pay because Dr O'connell is out of network but he has been treating them for years so we choose to stay. Well when I usually pay $60-$100 based on how long we spend there they stunned me with a $220 bill. Of course I freaked out and told them nope can't pay it...they said since the change over they can no longer give Dr O'connell rates for patients in fact I would be getting a bill like other patients for previous visits! I told her I agreed to a price I won't pay a bill. I asked why they didn't tell me when I made the appt or when they confirmed and I just got well most cash patients know drs are expensive...I get it but $110 for a kid to sit forever get weighed walk out? As soon as Sillect Medical is gone we will be going back. Sorry O'Connell

The girls who awnser the phones are incredibly rude and very unhelpful. I have had an appointment for over a month that was scheduled for an important issue. They called me the day before and said they had to cancel the appointment cause the provider had to be out that day unexpectedly. I asked when next available time would be and I was told it would be over a month away. It's not my fault the provider had to take that one day off, but at least fit me in sooner than a month. The people that were scheduled for that day should have first priority and be able to be squeezed in over the following next few days, not be sent to the back of the appointment line all over again when it's not my faul. Or at least be able to offer to be seen by another provider in the office. Some people skills need to be given and training need to be done on how to treat people. I love the providers in the office they are great. Gives the place a bad look and reputation when your treated poorly and disrespectful by the front end girls and who awnsers the phones. I wouldn't want those girls be the first ones who greeted customers when coming to my place of business or i wouldnt have any customers.

We first started coming to Dr. Edward Nichols, we loved hom. We now go to Trevor Williams, Good Dr, but for the receptionist, ppl answering the phones, have a lot to be desired. My husband & I both have experienced unprofessional interaction. I will not launder what we have experienced, but today, I have to vent, because I was hung up on in mid sentence & had to call back.
