Everyone was very nice until they stopped taking my insurance and even though it was only the first week in December they didn't return my calls about my blood pressure being high. I waited 5 days and called 3 times about my blood pressure and no call back. My insurance even said that I could continue going to one medical out of network for no additional cost and the insurance office at one medical would not return my call or the call from mu UHC representative. They obviously don't care about whether I have a stroke from high blood pressure. I am very disappointed and scared that they don't care about my health.

My experience with One Medical Senioru2019s was horrible! The 1st initial visit with the doctor was fine. He wanted my mother to get some X-rays and reschedule, we did and scheduled. When it was time to come back the office called me to reschedule for u201creasonsu201d to which I obliged but it interfered with all ready made plans. The day of the visit the office called me 45 prior to it to ask me me questions that could have waited and I was in the middle of getting my mother dressed. The office is about 5 miles away and is a one story office located in a shopping plaza with huge clear windows. When we arrived at about a few minutes late it took me about 5 minutes to get my motheru2019s wheel chair ready and her out of my truck and wheeled to the front door. As we attempted to walk in the receptionist asked me immediately if we had an appointment to which I confirmed we did. She immediately told me that because we were more than 5min late they had canceled the visit but could come back the next day. They could clearly see me thru the glass windows front me struggling to get my mother into her chair and into the office hence why she asked me before I had her chair into the front door about the appointment. Also she re-explained their 5 min cancellation policy even though it was nowhere posted, written anywhere on materials given to me prior or explained at anytime. Why would a office that has senior/geriatric patients have a 5 minute grace period??? After that I refused to reschedule, asked for my mothers medical records and never went back. They also refused to let me speak with the doctor or give me a direct phone number to the corporate office to complain. Please keep your loved ones away from this place by all means!

It is not what it was advertised to be. (Caring Doctors that take the time to Listen and Care for a Senior Patient's Needs). The Doctor at the Floyd Road Location seems very aloof, and unconcerned about your needs. Just wants to get the Basics and send you out the door. Also there has always been a disconnect between my Pharmacy and the Doctor's Office. There is always an issue fulfilling my regular medications requiring me to have to coordinate between the Pharmacy and the Doctor's Office myself. Also I have special issues that are now taking place in my body that I have informed the Doctor about and was told that I needed to find Specialist that handle those special issues my self. When I started with One Medical, I was told that I needed to get referral's to Specialist from my Primary Care Doctor. Needless to say I am not happy at all with One Medical and plan to find a different Primary Care Facility and Doctor that's truly concerned about my health improvement or at least makes me feel like they do.

Doctor good, support staff iffy.nMy BP shot out the roof, could mot get in to see doctor or get advise over phone.nMust be a part of Wellstar, the worst medicsl system on Earth.nWent to ER with BP 190/99. Told not at sttoke level yet. Nothing done except 2 tylenol for associated headache and med for nausea.nLuckily I had taken my BP med before ambulance arrived to tske me there.nFirst ER doctor insinuated go home till you have stroke, if it doesn't kill you, come back snd they would.nSort of same feeling I got from y'all.nHope I live long enough to get to see my new providers starting January 1st at Kaiser.
