I have been cared for by the people in the ED, and have been admitted for care. The hospital staff and ED staff are amazing. They've saved my life twice now and I'm very grateful to them. They are kind and professional. Definitely lucky to have this level of service in our little valley. The EMTs are 10/10. Thank you GVH!

My sister was admitted to Gunnison Valley Health with a painful pelvic fracture that she suffered after a skiing fall.nThe care from the Drs, Nurses, PT, OT , social worker and throughout the staff was exemplary. They did everything they could to make her stay comfortable while she healed enough to get on a plane to fly East.nThank you GVH for being at the top of your game!

Place is terrible they misdiagnosed me TWICE. They removed my appendix and turns out that wasnu2019t even the problem and sent me home 5 minutes after my surgery. Later that day started throwing up again and came back the next morning and now they are saying itu2019s now something different. Said they would do bathroom tests never did and they couldu2019ve found out the problem before my surgery now I have to take this antibiotic pills 4 times a day and couldu2019ve started those pills 3 days ago. Doctor came in said we are good to leave after he gets all of my paperwork finished it has now been 2.5 hours still sitting in the same hospital bed. Do not trust these people with any health problems.

I am not a person who usually leaves reviews but in this case I thought this was warranted. I have experienced the worst customer service I have ever received from an Orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Gloria Beim's office had me schedule for a ortho scope in May of 2024 and the day before the surgery they still had not figured out how much the surgery was going to cost after insurance had paid their portion. They told me I would need to pay almost $16,500 before they would operate. When I told them that was not correct due to the fact that I have the lowest possible deductible and should not be paying more than $2k they told me I would not be allowed to have the surgery without full payment so I cancelled the surgery. The next day I spent 2 hours on the phone with Anthem and they even got Dr Beim's office on the phone and showed them where the mistake was. Even after all that Gunnison Valley Health sent me a bill for one hour of their time to straighten out the mess that they made on their end! This is the worst experience I have ever had with an Ortho and I have had 6 knee surgeries! Do not do business with these people. Even when they sent me a new bill to pay they still did not have my right phone number or contact info and would not even tell me what this bill was for. Now I see it and I am so mad but I will pay it and move on. Buyer Beware!!! Don't trust these people! If I could leave zero stars I would!
