None of them would take more than 5 minutes to look at me before rushing out the door.nnThis changed when I met Dr. Ume. He was the first to actually care and he ran several tests to check for everything that could be wrong and told me my options and explained why we could or couldnu2019t do certain treatments.nnIf youu2019re looking for an ophthalmologist who actually cares about patients and treats you like family, you need to call Dr. Ume immediately.

Called in to the office to inquire about treatment for a chalazion I had on my left eye. The receptionist was very polite and helpful when answering most of my questions and proceeded to scheduled me in. While at my visit, Dr. Ume not only looked at the issue I initially went in for but took it further and examined my vision and any other issues with my eye sight. I later came in and got my chalazion taken care of fairly quickly with minimal down time. I am very pleased with the results and treatment Dr. Ume provided. Definitely do recommend!!

I called around several places to get a chalazion removed in a last attempt. Gwinnett ophthalmology got us in that day, last minute. The staff was very nice, professional, and Dr. Ume was very calming and a pleasure to be around. He assessed the situation and handled it! I wish I could give a place more than 5 stars!

I was welcomed when I walked in and seen soon after. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, and the doctor was patient and listened with intent. The doctor's recommendations helped my issue. Thank you Dr. Ume, Melissa, and the rest of the team for a great experience.

I came here over three weeks ago & paid $180 for an eye exam. I was suppose to get a call back or an email about the lenses and frames I ordered but no one ever did. Today I commuted here by Gwinnett transit for over an hour before 12:30pm. On Saturdays, Gwinnett Optomology is open from 10AM until 2PM. Im currently at the clinic and there isnu2019t anyone answering the phone nor the doors are open.
