Olivia helped me and get my life back on track, before going i was a nervous anxious wreck after someone's passing in my life. She helped me cope and gave me the skills to get better. I went from being unemployed and unable to work to being a full time employee and having the hope that I can go back to school

I truly love this place. Iu2019ve participated in individual, couples, and group sessions, and I am amazed at how profoundly it has positively impacted every aspect of my life.nnBeing part of a postpartum group was one of my most cherished experiences. Each week, I eagerly anticipated meeting those wonderful women, listening to their stories, connecting with them, and feeling less isolated. You always hear u201cyouu2019re not aloneu201d but it is a whole different experience when you get to actually see it.nnThe improvement Iu2019ve seen in such a short time has been both unexpected and immensely relieving. During some challenging times, this place provided me with the essential tools to navigate through difficulties with ease.nnI wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking to enhance their mental health.

Unfortunately, our time spent with L. Ford was not a 5 star experience. I personally searched for a therapist who I thought my son could relate to and who had the credentials to help him with the tools needed to improve his mental health and self esteem.nMy son met with L. Ford a few times and after each visit, my son revealed to me that his sessions were u201cdecent,u201d however, he stated that L. Ford is not the kind of therapist who helps with addressing emotions or feelings. He felt that L. Ford is more of a u201clogical responseu201d therapist. Which is no more personable than your child seeking advice on mental health from their science or math teacher. I have also personally spoke with L. Ford (in-person) several times prior to him meeting with my son and always got the impression that he was just doing a job, but truly isnu2019t passionate about u201cguidingu201d his clients. It rarely felt personable and more like he was pressed for time and had 10 other mental tasks opened all at once in his head. After the 3rd session of my son meeting with L. Ford u2026 it became obvious that L. Ford was mostly organizing each session like a doctor/ pediatrician visit. We would sit in the lobby sometimes 10-15 minutes past our appointment time. L. Ford would then request to speak with me first prior to meeting with my son (which took another 10 minutes). Then, heu2019d finally begin the session with my son, which typically lasted 15 minutes. And, thatu2019s how each visit went. I took note of each visit because I truly was invested in my childu2019s mental health. And after each session, I asked my son questions! It soon became quite obvious that L. Ford didnu2019t take an interest in establishing a personal connection with my son.nn** Prime example, my son actually saw him out in public and said that he made direct eye contact with L. Ford and that he didnu2019t even acknowledge nor did he speak to my son. No waive, no smileu2026 nothing! Even though they both made direct eye contact ?! Yet this was supposed to be my sonu2019s trusted therapist with u201chands to guideu201d him?!nnThe appointment service is absolutely terrible!! I had way too many issues trying to schedule an appointment with that office and had to constantly email them!nL. Ford also missed 2 virtual appointments with my son as well as cancelled (at the last minute) in-person appointments. After awhile, it begin to feel like my son was just another invoice bill for L. Ford instead of someone who he was truly was passionate about u201cguiding.u201d I could go on and on, but I know there are much better therapists who are truly invested in making a difference in their clientsu2019 lives. We moved on and wonu2019t ever look back.nn** Parents, make sure that you ask questions and pay attention to the u201cqualityu201d of service given to your child. Its unfortunate that some of these therapists / doctors are more interested in billing your insurance and could care less about truly helping your child! Advocate for them because if you donu2019t, things like this can (and will) happen if you donu2019t ask questions.nI had high hopes based on Larry Fordu2019s extended credentials but after awhile u2026 that was all a facade. Because his actions (or lack thereof) truly didnu2019t match his practice!
