Add me to the list of people who got a collection notice text from Hollis Cobb Associates but have never received a bill and my call went to useless voice mail. Have no problem paying a valid bill but this feels so much like a scam ...

I am adding my experience here which will further reinforce the garbage services of this practice, which deserves a zero star.They sent me a bill which just says Total Charges. There was no explanation or breakdown of what the charges are for. When I called them, they said the they could not provide me the breakdown of what the charges are for. I had to demand to speak to a supervisor and after arguing for 40 minutes, she agreed to send me the breakdown through a mail.5 weeks later, I received ANOTHER bill for another amount from them. Again, this just had Total Charges without any further details. Also this one says FINAL NOTICE. I called them up to ask for a breakdown and why I am only receiving it on Final Notice? Not only did they refuse to provide a breakdown again, they said they have sent this bill to debt collections!!!I pointed out that this was the first time I am receiving this bill, why is it FINAL NOTICE?? Additionally, the due date on the bill says it is 2 weeks later, why did they send it to collections??Throughout all the calls I have had the representative was rude, dismissive, and at times blatantly lying.Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians has the worse processes, customer service, and is not honest with the patient. They are a scam organization that commits fraud.

Billing department phone line had an outage for over a week. Nobody could take my call. I tried a different HMFP number and the women put me on hold for over an hour and I eventually hung up. Medical servicers like this are a joke. If we ever get universal healthcare in this country, I will jump with joy that I will never have to deal with these scam companies again. They deserve to go out of business.

Their anesthesia billing department sent a thousand dollar account to collections almost a year after surgery without ever sending me a single bill. They misfiled the claim which led to denial, and did not even reach out so that I could appeal the claim and rectify the situation.Appalling, unethical, and legally murky behavior.

Like others, I just received a collections notice on behalf of HMFP when absolutely none of my medical billing accounts show a balance and I have never received a bill from this entity.
